Take care of the truck, back end needs work, bad ride. Really old truck, lack of maintenance meant bad gas mileage. No way to go far with that truck. We made a reservation on line but there was 1 person serving & they were with a slow customer. We didn't get the pads we had pre-ordered.

There was broken glass and screws the guy had to remove when I came to pick it up. Then I was charged for 2 days rental when I only had it for 22 hrs. I returned it between 12 and 1. I know I am on video dropping it off. Was the former renter charged for not cleaning the trailer out or is it easier to double bill customers who just want to drop off and go?

1) I was asked to provide a "name and phone number of an alternate contact person". I'm a 55 year old single man. Am I expected to provide personal information of a neighbor or my elderly parents? What is the purpose of this requirement? It's not a cosigner. It appears to be an attempt at gaining information for spam calls. 2) When I returned, I parked the trailer still attached to my SUV parked in the return lane, I asked an employee who was already outside where to park it, he instructed me to put it in the spot where I picked it up, and that he would be back outside to finish the paperwork. Nobody showed up for 15 minutes. I went inside to find FIVE employees chatting at the front desk with zero customers inside. When I asked "can one of you five please check in my trailer?" one smart aleck responded "is you parked in the return lane? So I reminded him that one of them had already met me outside. 3) The tandem axle open trailer doesn't have a tongue dolly. The female employee lifted it onto my hitch and the male lifted it off. These are very heavy and could injure an employee or customer's back, it's ridiculous to not have a tongue dolly. I've experienced this every time I've rented a U-Haul, it's your policy to go cheap and endanger your customers and employees.

Guys who hooked up the trailer were very nice. I had a blown fuse for my lights and they fixed it right away. They smiled, made me smile and feel more relaxed. Very nice group of employees.

The employee that checked us in was not very personable. Then told us someone would meet us out back to hook our 6x12 trailer up. We heard him call him and tell him we were on our way back and the employee in the back pretty much ran around to the front of the building as we were driving back to avoid us. We waited for about 8 minutes and no one came back (keep in mind this was at 8:00 am and there were no other customers there) so we hooked up the trailer ourselves. Thankfully, we did it correctly but lifting that heavy trailer is not advisable if you have a bad back. We drove off and there was still no one in sight.

I was charged for a water bottle that had sunflower seed behind the driver seat. We didn't drink water or chew sunflower seeds... You must not have cleaned it properly when it was returned before us. I have used your location several times but this will probably be the last if I don't get refunded my $25.00
