Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulWe reserved a 20 foot only got a 15 foot and told we could drive to Hinton for one when we just came from Edmonton. The truck was empty had to put in $100 worth of gas. In the back of the truck it was so dirty and not cleaned out at all. Manager was so very rude will never use that location again.
Tyne TI drove an hour to pick up the truck, they were having computer issues from the start and it took well over an hour to get it sorted out. So for a move that should've started at 10 AM, it started at 3 PM! I don't feel that it has anything to do with the location. I think the U-Haul system overall is what needs to be fixed! You book a vehicle two weeks before hand and they wait until the day before and tell you can't have it. They feel because they are one of the only self moving trucking companies, that they can do whatever they want.
Kelli DMake sure that the reserved U-Haul well ahead if time is actually there. I had reserved in Hinton. Two days before before pick up they call me to say it’s no longer available, that they reserved another one for me in Whitecourt, which is 2 hours away. So I drive all the way to pick it up. I park beside a U-Haul in Whitecourt and coincedently they call me to say my U-Haul is in Edson. So I had to drive to Edson to pick it up(add another hour to my wasted gas, time and mileage on my vehicule) . The service in Edson itself was good. The service with U-Haul in general is horrible and disappointing.
Melanie CExcellent service. Very knowledgeable and easy to book with. I highly recommend this location.
