If turning in the receipt with the truck gives me some money back - return of a deposit - then that should have been made known to whoever was picking up the truck - he did not know because he was not told, and hence neglected to be sure he had the receipt with him when he dropped off the truck. Also - online it says I could pick the truck up at 7 AM but this location was not open until 9 AM - what is up with that??

Showed up to get the vehicle after hours like scheduled and the vehicle was blocked in. When I called to get help to move the vehicle I was then cussed you out and disrespected by the owner she called herself. Then when I said I wouldn't take my business there and let all the military people know about that she said good we don't need your kind of business here. Was supposed to get a call back from the supervisor and he said he would look into the matter and then never bothered.

I've been using this location for many years , and not only is the trucks always exceptional . The customer service is always always excellent. I forget her name but she is always there on weekends. She is so sweet and kind , I actually enjoy going to u haul , and I wouldn't go to another location . For years this woman has been at that desk. I never saw another employee. I hope she gets awarded for a brilliant customer service. Thank you for the opportunity to give a review and have a great day??

Originally, I chose a location 10 minutes away from my home. U-Haul did not notify me that the pick-up location had changed. I had to drive 23 minutes to pick-up the U-Haul. This was a big inconvenience.

No instructions on drop off procedures at a 24 hour center. I hope I performed the drop off correctly? No personnel around for assistance and no time to make a phone call to uhaul, so I drop the truck key and copy of contract in drop box slot?

I requested a 20 ft truck, when one was not available the web site forced me to pick a smaller truck, causing us to have to make more trips which put more miles on the 15 ft truck. This also forced us to have to keep the truck an extra day. When I requested some kind of compensation for having to use the smaller truck, I was told I could not prove I originally requested a bigger truck therefore I was not going to be given any type of relief. My bill would have only been $210 but due to having to use a smaller truck my bill is now $600.00!! The woman at the air base uhaul center was extremely helpful when I picked up the truck, however the customer service of the area manager was very poor. I would like to thank the woman at the air base center for her friendliness, there was nothing else she could do with the area manger saying I would not receive compensation for the extra time and miles needed for having to use a smaller truck. I suggest never using the web site to reserve a truck or print out your original request.

The facility I picked my rental up at was great. They were very helpful in resolving issues I had. However, the overall rental experience through UHaul was horrible. I reserved a 24 hour rental online and it looked like everything as fine. Then we received texts and emails showing a change of location (adding miles to the mileage I paid for) and only a 4 hour limit. Who moves an entire house in 4 hours??? After a phone call to Uhaul to a man I could barely understand, the next text and email confirmation showed 5.5 hours. 2 more phone calls to the actual new location corrected the issue of time. Then the virtual check in process, which I did NOT ask for but it said I did, was awful. If they are going to make you check in that way, they should provide wifi access for better location assistance. It took me 5 tries to get the website to actually find me, which wasted more than 10 minutes alone. I had full 4g service on my phone and I told it to allow uhaul to find my location the first time around. I spent 30 minutes trying to get through the virtual process only to have to still go inside to pick up my truck.

Actually, I wanted to pick up the equipment at my local U-Haul dealer but was unable to due to a lack of equipment, so I was forced to drive 30 miles out of my way for the rental thus losing 30 miles for my trip and getting charged for over mileage. That being said, it was not the fault of Air Base Mini Storage, but in the system in general.

Facility was closed when I dropped off the truck and trailer. Parked it at the location, locked it up, put key in the drop box and called them the next day. Did not view the facility (except the lot outside) nor did I see anyone.

Develop a corporate tire inspection program prior to renting trailers. My two right tires required checking at each fill up and re-inflation due to a slow leak. It appeared the leak was at the rim as there were no nails or foreign objects in the tread. This was very annoying during my 1000 mile trip. Thankfully the Army taught me to check equipment before departing on trips. otherwise I am certain I would have had a flat on the interstate. The required 65 psi was down to 15 psi by the following morning after picking up the trailer

You could improve the customer experience by honoring the customer's reservation. I reserved a truck a month in advance and was surprised when I received a text message less than 24 hours before my reservation that the pick up location had changed -- 30 miles away from the original location, no less. I was also surprised to find that my selection of truck had been "upgraded" to one almost twice the size of the one I had reserved -- as if being forced to drive an even bigger vehicle down narrow streets amounts to an upgrade. The workers are certainly accommodating and apologetic, but that's it spite of the company, not because of it.

This was by far the most unprofessional uhaul experience. The truck we reserved was not available the staff was rude and it took over 50 minutes to get the issue resolved. We were told to pick up a truck over 30 miles away, when in reality the truck was available for use. We will continue to use secure storage for or future uhaul endeavors.

1) make sure when you give me a confirmation number and a pickup location it is cleared. My instruction was to pick up the trailer at Top City, they did not have a 6x12 trailer and he did not know I was coming....? 2) I was sent over to air base mini storage where they had the trailer, but no appliance dolly... I then had to go back to Top City to get the dolly.... All delayed me by 2hrs.... I was not happy. Top City talked to a Uhaul rep and they said I was communicated on the change via text message AND voicemail - neither of these communication came through to me. All in all, beside this front end work, the trailer served me well and did the job well. It was in great mechanical and electrical condition. I wish Uhaul had one size larger trailer.
