Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulI rented a pickup truck and it was brand new (only around 400 miles on it) but it smelled terrible of cigarette smoke. The truck drove well and worked well for what I needed so I just put up with the cigarette smoke smell, but for others who can't tolerate that it would be good to know before they pay.
William MNot happy with Uhaul for having me drive an additional 80 miles roundtrip to pick up the Uhaul. 70 additional miles was not enough compensation for me having to go out of my way. Not good customer service.
Marti SFriendly staff, very accommodating, highly recommend.
steve nThe equipment was clean, but I had an issue with the truck leaking in the front passenger side corner after it rained during my rental period. I have already submitted an insurance claim for the damaged items, but it was incredibly stressful to manage drying out and cleaning items that were in the truck in the midst of a long-distance move. Beyond just the value of the items, it is frustrating to have to add a significant amount of additional time (that I didn't really have) to things that need to be done during the move.
