It seemed the staff was reactive v. Proactive. I don’t think they had any idea that I made a reservation and did the “express “ check in. Trailer was buried behind snow pile. Poor girl had to dig it out. It would be nice if it worked more like renting a car.

First I was given a pickup truck where the bed was filled with snow. I cant move furniture in a truck that is filled with snow. Just plain stupid to give me a truck like that. This truck should have been prepared first. there has not been snow in 4 days. So it's been that long that the car sat in the lot untouched or maintained. Then I requested a different vehicle and the truck smelled of cigarette smoke. This vehicle should've been cleaned since it was turned in. There was no other pickup truck so we had no choice but to deal with it. This vehicle also only had a quarter tank of gas. Are the vehicles not cleaned and prepared and gassed up in advance? This was by far the worst customer experience and I would not come back again nor would I recommend it. I will however post poor reviews and share this poor experience across social media. Additionally the people I dealt with inside did not seem to be trained well or know how to deal with customers

Location closed 15 mins early so I could not pick up my uhaul on original pick date at its pick up time of 6:45. Employees would not assist us. Causing my reservation to get cancelled and me having to repay for truck while refund was pending. This delayed my move and caused a big inconvenience. Worst experience ever.

We did not get all of. My aunt stuff be cause the truck was to small so she still have to come back to Detroit to get the rest of her stuff so to they need to explain the size of the truck ?? more wasted my money

There was broken glass in the trailer that I had to clean before placing my belongings. There was also a leak in the closed trailer that I did not notice until arriving at my destination. A few of my items got wet as a result since it was raining. The gentlemen that hooked the trailer to my car was wonderful though.

Perhaps a few more on-site parking spaces for clients. If one rents a vehicle for one day or overnight usage; one might want to leave their car for a short period of time rather than get a "ride".

They nade a mistake in indicating gas gauge. I called Uhaul and they told me they fixed the issue and make a note on the contract showing the actual gas amount. And told me you should be fine when you return the car. I returned the car they read the gas WRONG again and charged me 30 dollars more. Terrible experience. I AM GOING TO DISPUTE THIS CHARGE. NEVER RECOMMENDED POOR EXPERIENCE

I was part of the new process of using my phone to "inspect" the vehicle, I think this is a little tricky given you do not provide complimentary wifi. So the page may take a long time to load for some guests. Not driving the vehicle up to me, seems in a way, unprofessional. It is a nice gesture & service of hospitality for the Uhaul personnel to bring the vehicle to me, Mostly because when I got to it, it had the huge cardboard piece in the windshield that I had to remove & throw in the back. I made my reservation in advance, so in the least, this piece of cardboard could have been removed from the particular van that I was taking. We use Uhaul frequently for the company that I work for and it just seems appropriate to continue bringing the vehicle to the guest and allowing them to go through it with a person
