Have regular TV & coffee in waiting room, so do not have to watch the U-haul video during hitch install. The lady at the counter was very nice, and helpful. Install appears to be done well.

The back of the trick was dirty.. dried dirt throughout the back of the truck... and the brakes are due for replacement. Make sure trucks are clean when returned. I took the truck and made sure it was cleaned out very well so I wasn't stuck with a cleaning fee and when I returned the guy didn't even look at it.

Was told that Uhaul told them NOT TO give any discounts for anyone asking to help with Texas disaster relief. Not a very 'American Company' I'll never rent from them again. I'll give my money elsewhere.

The truck I reserved was not then one I left with... i went thru all the pre trip stiff with the app and then when I went to get me the key the gave me a different truck. Which was not cleaned at all. Floors were dirty as well as the cabin area.

Truck was dirty with stuff behind the seats and rotten wood in the back, dirty floors. I had trouble with the whole rental process. Could not get a truck pick up confirmed for several days and did not know where to pick up the truck until the morning of the move and after several calls to various facilities. Several Dayton facilities dropped the ball and cost me time and money. This pick up spot was 45 minutes out of my way. If you cannot confirm a truck prior to the night before a move, and you cannot deliver the truck to the facility where it is ordered, then you are not doing an efficient job. I've used UHaul in Evansville IN, Louisville KY, New Albany IN and Missoula MT. This was my worst experience ever. The majority of the blame lies with Dayton facilities/regional issues overall.

They don't return messages. (I called and left three (#3) requests for them to call me back through the call center and NOTHING! Please quit hiring people that you can't understand at the call center. I had one lady that I assume was from India, I couldn't understand a word she said. I hung up and called back. Your customer service has declined. Seems like the better you try to make it, the worse it gets. I have had a storage unit with you since 1983 and so I have been dealing with your company for years. Then on my contract, they had me returning the truck to the location I chose, but the call center had me returning it somewhere totally different. Glad I called to confirm the return! No one was on the same page...too many people dealing with one person!

The new self service application was ok. I'm in my 50's at times electronically chalenged when it comes to phones smarter than me :) I'll stick to real people next time. Getting through the process didn't really save me time for me personally the convenience came to returning rental vehicle outside of normal business hours. Thanks Uhaul for advancing your technology to a younger generation of consumers who will most likely love it!

I called the location closest to my house to get a head start on the rental process and was told to come and my rental truck would be ready. I show up they do not have anything. I'm pointed in the direction of the next one after going there yet again no truck available. At the third location they did have a truck ready for me. It was a complete run around. They did discount the price for the inconvenience which I appreciated. After returning the truck I was told the truck was going to be an amount which I agreed to, to later find out after checking my bank account it was charged more. I spent more time on the phone trying to straighten out the problems than I had the truck. First and last time using U-Haul.

This has been a nightmare. I paid $391 for the truck and since I turned it in I've had three separate charges trying to charge me. There is now investigation on that situation. overall this is been one of those horrible experiences of renting a truck that I've ever had.... also I did not drop the truck off in Elyria Ohio eye drops off where I picked it up at at the U-Haul on East 3rd Street in Dayton Ohio. That's half the reason why they keep charging me because I saying I dropped it off somewhere else when I didn't I dropped off the exact same place I picked it up.

Dropping off equipment took a lot longer than it should have. There was no one receiving, so we went inside. The lady inside was rude about telling us if we were dropping off to go outside. She said she sent "another" employee to receive. There was only one person out there.
