I told the sales person I only needed the truck for two days and she put three days. I will never deal with uhaul again. Horrible experience. It took hours to finally speak with someone who agreed to return my money then he said it would be 5-7 business days for it to show up in my bank account. It only took them two seconds to steal it from me.

The place that you sent me to on Dorthy lane. The trailer was there. The person that i had a reservation to pick up the trailer was not there. Could not be found. Called uhaul to find another trailer. uhaul sent me to 3rd st location.

Terrible customer service. I was not explained specifics well enough during the rental agreement, which led to a 5 1/2 hour waste of my life. It was a “do you want our coverage” And “sign here initial here…” I was not told I had to pay the full amount, which was a U-Haul up charged amount, when I dropped the keys off. My insurance company says they have dealt with U-Haul rentals several times, and this is the first I’ve ever heard of anything like this. I damaged a mirror when I was backing up And the store manager treated it like I was some kind of number. Not a person, with insurance that would cover this, but a name on a piece of paper and a number. That’s all I was during this transaction today. My insurance company has tried more than five times to contact someone to figure out who to pay for the damages, and they kept getting a dead end. It was a “our way or nothing” attitude from the store manager AJ. I was charged double what dodge quoted me for the mirror repair, but was told I was getting some kind of 20% discount if I did it quickly. I asked more than one time for an estimate or an invoice showing me what I was paying this ungodly amount of money for and was told I couldn’t have one. “Not until I paid”. I was told I had to pay an amount of money double what should’ve been paid, and I had to do it blindly with no explanation of parts or labor. I was told that if I didn’t pay by 7 PM today, I would be put into some kind of bill collector/accounts not received/legal issue. I was told this by the store manager AJ in person. I called Uhauls customer service and they tried talking to The store manager AJ to see if there was an explanation why he was charging so much more than The estimate I got for parts and labor from Dodge, and he said the best he could do was to give me the “quick settlement discount” which was still significantly more than Dodge was charging. And that he would not be dealing with my insurance company. After He called me back per my request, I tried to explain to him my insurance company needed an estimate or an invoice or something to validate the charges. He refused to give me one and told me he absolutely wouldn’t give me one until I paid them the amount first. When I told him that they need to see the charges to see if they would be reasonable, he informed me that’s “not how it works at U-Haul” This is unacceptable. No business has ever ran like this before, and now that I know U-Haul does run like this, I will never be back. After AJ got an attitude with me on the phone telling me this is how it works at U-Haul, I told him that I guess they would just have to take legal action like with a court the way he explained earlier. He then yelled at me for mentioning that and hung up the phone on me. He told me that I had “threatened him “. U-Haul has lost a customer. I cannot in good conscience ever go back to a business that handles itself in such a shady way. There needs to be a better expl

Make sure trucks don't need alignment before renting. Also if customers fill up your tank to full you should not charge them.

I returned the van, I owed 2 dys onit, they were going to report itstolen, when I got the van, I have plates and rods in my ankle, they made me go look for it, when I went to return it, they went and pulled the van up for the perfectly capable man that was there to rent it, a service that was not given to me, the van had white x's on it from previous damage and they lied on the mileage... I can go on and on.

Make sure the customer understands how long the rental is for. I thought mind absolutely had to be back by 8pm when in fact, 9am or 11am the next morning would have done just as well, not that I would have or needed to keep it that long.

Dropped off at night so there isn't much to say, but location was clean and clearly marked. Only comment, make a sign to better show where the key drop is. I almost put it in the wrong boxes outside.

Without realizing it, the gentleman gave me a van that looked as if it had been taken 'off-roading'. When I pointed it out, he made note of it. I had to take that van because I had to be somewhere. Then, when I returned it, he very nicely gave me a credit! THAT'S what I call good customer service!!!

Trailer safety strap worn out, had to pull over and inspect and re-latch. added more than an hour to our trip and the stress of it all the manager did not even say he was sorry, U- Haul should refund my rental fee.

Have regular TV & coffee in waiting room, so do not have to watch the U-haul video during hitch install. The lady at the counter was very nice, and helpful. Install appears to be done well.
