U-Haul needs better customer service

I was charged for insurance without even asking if I wanted it. I was acharged 8 dollars for gas even though I returned it with the same amount of gas as it had when I rented it. I was charged a $90 and a $50 charge up front, and I was aware of the $90 fee but I wasnt aware of the $50 charge until I checked my bank account. I called customer service and they said that it would be released from my account sometime within the next 5 business days. The charge has been on my account for 6 days and counting now. I would like to have my money refunded please.

The gate was closed so I wasn't even able to drop the U-Haul off like I had scheduled to do. I had to drive way out of my way to find another U-Haul place to drop it off since this location had made that impossible.

The tow dolly I had requested online wasn't there or available. Had to wait 3 additional hours for one to be delivered from neighboring town. I was not happy because we were traveling to st. Louis and it delayed us getting home until the middle of the night. Tried to leave a message to complain and ask for a partial refund and finally had to hang up after being on hold for 30 minutes!

The actual drop location wasn’t even open and from te looks of the 3 foot weeds, hasn’t been for some time, so I went to this one and we spoke and he was awesome. The actual drop off is the only reason I am even remotely satisfied with this rental, out of all the years we and our family have used u haul this was the worst experience ever

Check locations... originally scheduled to pick up at Young’s BP... no one was there, no one answered the phone, there wasn’t even a BP there... just a gravel lot. Having to change pick up locations added an hour to the pick up.

Nothing at all at the following last cation: Home & Farm Supply 101 N Glenwood Ave Dalton, GA 30721 Hap (attendant) was amazing. He took the time to help me connect the trailer, educate me on how it works and best practices on how to remove it. Could not have asked for better customer service.

The truck had some front end issues which made the entire trip very bad. When tge truck reached 35 mph i thought the front end was going to fall apart. Doors and mirrors vibrated so back you couldnt use them going down the road. Possibly flat spot tires or out of balance. Very rough ride, the truck had 160,000 miles on it and it was covered in past damage. If i use you again i will demand a newer vehicle, i paid over $200 for the truck and expected a lot more than i received. Nice people but come on folks maintain your equipment better.

While the location and staff at the location were great and helpful, the reservation process online and my interaction with team members leading up to receiving my rental were horrendous. I am appalled at the way our rental was handled, and if we ever choose to use UHaul again -- which is doubtful-- it will be entirely because of our positive experiences with the local personnel at pick-up and drop-off, and in spite of customer service, the regional office, the website design and tools, and the staff at locations other than our pick-up and dropoff.
