Was on my way to pick up a truck from the Norco location per my confirmation email. I was en route and got a call from an unknown number, uhaul stated that my truck wasn’t available at the location as previously confirmed and i had to drive an additional 4 miles (8 total miles) and would not discount the mileage. Very unfortunate that uhaul could not do anything to make the situation right. Will definitely look to use another company for my next job/move. I’ve used uhaul before and this time was by the far the most inconvenient and poor customer service experience.

One person behind the counter on a busy morning. We thought it was a fluke so we rented again the following weekend and it was the same. We saw several people walk out due to the wait.

I promised myself I would never do this... I worked for Uhaul for several years. A couple as an Assistant GM. I remeber being held to a certain level of customer service and professionalism was a personal standard of my own. My Rotation trucks and their keys were ALWAYS in order. I found it a complete embarrassment to have to move trucks to get my dispatch. During my last rental, the CSR assisting me had to return to the office to get keys to uncover the truck I was rented. As I watched him dash across the yard, another truck was pulling in. I then waited as my CSR assisted the customers just returning. Very unprofessional, poor customer service. I recognized the center has a few newer employees working there, but I think you guys can afford some time and training. Instead of just throwing them to the wolves.

You are rediculasly over priced. People and service were great but .69 per mile and fill her up. Almost 100 for 3 hours. Will never use u again.

Used the mobile system and when I went inside for the key still had to wait 25 minutes and then told them the truck I was assigned was blocked in and had to return inside for a second time to request them to move a truck to clear a path for my assigned truck. So in short the mobile system that touts skipping the line took more than an hours

The vehicle smelled very bad. Not easy smell to deal with the whole time. Staff was fine but the vehicle smelled like previous user hauled away trash. Not a good experience.

You can make sure that when someone makes a reservation the truck is available. I reserved a 10' truck on 4/27/18 at A Storage because it's about 2-3 mins from the apartment that I was moving from. I arrived on time, at 12:00pm, and was told that there was no truck available because the previous renter hadn't yet turned it in. I was told that I could go to another location on McKinley as they had a 10' truck available & he would reserve it for me. McKinley isn't very far, so I said ok. Know that I had people waiting for me at 12pm that I was paying to help me move, so I was stressed about time. As I was turning onto McKinley I received a call from a man at that U Haul location who said he saw my reservation & they don't have a 10' truck available either. He gave me 2 other locations to go to. Needless to say I was very upset!! The young man said that both of the locations weren't far, but my time is very valuable, which is why I took time to make a reservation in the first place. The next closest location I picked was the U Haul on 6th Street in Corona & I was offered a 20' truck because they also didn't have a 10'. I was also given the 20' at the 10' price, but to be honest I was so upset that I really don't care about getting a bigger truck for the same price. What I do care about is the fact that I didn't get a call from A Storage to tell me that the truck I reserved wasn't there prior to me arriving, nor did I get an apology for the inconvenience. I also care that he had me traveling to another location for nothing. I do care that although the man that called me from the McKinley location found another truck, there still was no apology, as if my service & time aren't valued as a customer. I also care that your 6th Street U Haul location representative just shook her head when I explained that she was the 3rd place I've been. And lastly, I care about the fact that I didn't get a truck until shortly after 1pm, an hour after my reservation time, and I still then had to drive 25 mins back to my apartment in traffic, as well as pay the people who helped me move for an hour & a half to just sit and wait for me to get there. This experience wasted my time, devalued me as a paying customer, wasted my hard earned money on an hour & a half of free labor and unnecessarily stressed me out even more than having to move already does.Thanks a lot U Haul.

I was told there would be a $40 credit issued if I returned the U-Haul vehicle with a quarter tank of gas or more, as I was given one, which the gas tank was empty. This was after i had caught that there was a screw in the tire in the original U-Haul vehicle they had tried to give me. So I had the inconvenience of gassing up twice, and they refused to issue the credit, after returning the U-Haul with the 1/4 tank's worth of fuel.

If you are going to charge $30 for a "fueling" fee, then don't point out to the customer the $4.50 per gallon charge, TELL THEM ABOUT THE FUELING FEE. You put in 2 gallons, charged me $9 in gas, and $30 for the fee, that's like $20 a gallon... Huge ripoff that was not discussed, even though you chose to tell me about the per gallon charge...

It took me 45 minutes to pick up an appliance dolly that I reserved over the phone with a credit card. I was told even if I checked in online I would still have to wait in the long line and there was only one person working the front desk and he didn't seem to care that he was moving as slow as could be.
