I had reserved a 10 foot truck a week prior. The day before they called and said they only had 15 foot trucks. When i showed up, there were 4 10 foot trucks in the parking lot, all of which were "only for local use" or "already reserved." It was mildly frustrating but overall not a terrible experience.

The location, people at the location and the actual Uhaul were great. I have a very big complaint with the customer service that I received from Uhaul as a company. I made a reservation to pickup in Auburn, Al two days in advance and was not told until the day before my move that there would not be one available there and I would have to drive 30-45 minutes away to get my Uhaul. It’s absolutely absurd and ridiculous and made my day/move so much harder. I should never have been able to make the reservation if the equipment for a one-way move wasn’t available or at least been contacted way in advance.

U-haul worker changed my one way rental to an in town wich resulted in unnecessary charges and fees that they expect me to pay wich is not fair to me and called their customer service and tgey did not care even though it was their fault no i would not recommend using uhaul find another company if possible

The blond woman working there was very rude- when we asked her a question she snapped at us “Get in line“. The line took an hour to pick up the trailer we had reserved. We didn’t know that the larger 5x10 trailer would NOT carry a Queen mattress since the smaller 4x10 Will carry the queen. When we went back to trade the larger trailer for a smaller one they would not let us trade — we had to rent and pay for a different trailer. This took almost another hour. This kind of treatment will cause us NEVER to rent from Uhaul again.

We are used to good service at UHaul, Yesterday was a disappointment. we stood in line about 1 hour to get our trailer. Sure it was a Saturday morning at the beginning of the month, probably your busiest time. So why did you not have additional people working? Next: we have rented 5x8 trailers in the past. They hold a queen bed. We needed more capacity this time, so we got a 5x10 trailer. But it won't hold a queen bed, even though it's a bigger trailer. So we had to bring trailer back to swap for the 5x8. But because it more than an hour later, the clerk would not let us swap, so we had to officially turn in the trailer and “rent” the smaller cheaper 5x8 for an additional $20. I would appreciate your consideration and give us a refund on that. Again we had to wait a long time to get service. At one point a different clerk came out and started working at a different station, and so we asked can you help us? Her response, and I quote, “You can stand in line over there”. This is very rude, and the (white) lady should be reprimanded. The rest of the rental experience was OK.

The location is great for me, as I live in midtown. I was greeted by Robert, the General Manager. He was great! Amazing customer service and loved his personality and sense of humor. If I ever move again, I'm coming to this Uhaul store, just because of Robert!

Tire was flat on truck at arrival. Second vehicle smelled like smoke. My rental appointment was fully submitted and approved at ANOTHER LOCATION and was moved clear across to another town without my knowledge or consent, and the manager got an attitude about giving me some mileage discount for me hearing to drive across town to get truck and return it, which was additional miles I should not have to pay. I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW AND FACEBOOK ABOUT HOW BAD UHAUL IS.

You need to upgrade your trucks we could not adjust the side mirrors dangerous, the truck kept stalling. When the truck was returned no where to park in the return drive. The end mileage was not correct it was off by a point we took pictures of the dash board after parking it whoever check it fudged a little. Overall customer service could be improved, the female at the counter clearly did not know what she was doing she needed help completing the transaction she was attending to, the African American man end up opening another counter to minimize the wait time in the store. Outside area is cluttered, there needs to be another lane to get out and in to park the street traffic on 10th street is dangerous

The new website to make reservations is HORRIBLE! I have been using UHaul for years and making a reservation on-line was easy. Not so anymore. I had difficulty navigating the "new" site, never received a confirmation of my reservations and had to go down there in person to get the job done. I also called another location (Fountain Court) for help and never received a call back. Finally, I emailed UHaul about the website and have yet to hear back from them as well. Not impressed.
