The sales rep said when I’m renting the truck one way and moving to an different state then I get a free storage room for one month. I didn’t get that, the lake city drop off said lake city doesn’t do free storage rooms when I asked. Also the sales rep in Columbas said if I book today then he will throw in an extra 100 miles, which he failed to do so I got charged more overall.

I used this location in 2015 when I moved to my first apartment. I remember the customer service being excellent. My most recent visit did not match the last one. There was 1 register open, with a long line of customers. There were a couple of employees sitting around, not taking customers, while one employee (Michael S.) was doing his very best by himself. The assistant manager, I cannot remember her name, was not very pleasant and she was in the process of leaving not long after I arrived. Maybe she was having a horrible day? I sincerely and respectfully hope she had a better one today. I appreciate the employee who assisted me, Michael Smith. He's the epitome of great customer service. He was empathetic and he was thorough. Keep up the great work, Michael!

More counter help - waited over an hour to get truck cause only one person available and there was a queue waiting every time I was there. Couldn't find my reservation even though I called an hour earlier to confirm and see if something bigger was available.

Hire more people to work the incoming and outgoing reservations. She was nice, but she was the only person authorized to work the computer. So her leaving to walk people to their trucks or show them storage spaces would literally slow everything to a halt. I was in line for an hour, then once I got to the front was told they didn't have any Auto transports. I told her I just needed something to bring my car with me and she said they didn't have anything. She told me to call a 1800 number. I walked outside and asked another employee. He told me they had dollies in the back. The auto transports' tail lights were broken which is why they were unavailable. I got back in line and waited another 30 to 45 minutes. I even called and made a reservation to speed up the process. Eventually the general manager came in. He proceeded to make snide comments towards the woman who called him. It was disgusting, unnecessary, and disrespectful. The whole thing was disorganized and inefficient. I expected better of U-Haul.

The staff was very slow!!! When I arrived to pick up my equipment I git their 20 mins early. I walked up too the counter I was the only one in lane the employee asked if she could held me I said I have a reservation at 4:30. Then she said ohh it’s almost 4:30 time for me to leave you will have to wait on the other employee to help you. Absolutely lazy employees. So then I had to wait another 30 mins for the other employee to come back in and help me overall it took a hour to rent a trailer. Then when I dropped it off the next day different employees same sorry lazy work effort. It took 45 mins to return the trailer. So overall I have to it was a horrible experience because of the employees at this location 930 10 ave Columbus ga..

why dose the web site offer express service, and when you get to store you are asked the same questions again. What is the use of express checkout if you have to do it all over when you get to store.

Clear trucks fast, was unable to pull into the designated zone because it was backed up with several trucks. Double check that dollies and furniture pads are actually in the trucks.

Service engine light is on in the vehicle. It drives very poorly. Poor customer service on BOTH shifts. False advertising with the cost of rentals....very misleading. Parking lot too small as well.

The truck I rented was perfectly adequate at first. Unfortunately, on the way up to Atlanta, the AC stopped working. We had to make almost the entire round trip without AC! When we mentioned that as we were turning in the vehicle, the person we were dealing with was completely uninterested. She only wanted to get us out of the building so that she could lock up! Very poor customer service!!

I have to pay a total of $401.74 for a two day rental. How is that? They didnt have a truck where i reserved it in Grantville. Then i get charged for 199 miles. Wow!!

8-20-2018 This location did not process when I turned in the truck. I turned in the truck on a Saturday. A day earlier than required and on Sunday I was getting calls because the records didn't show I turned the truck in. On Monday it still didn't show that I turned the truck in. The office was called and they were still telling the corporate office that i didn't turn the truck in. I had to get off my job and go to the location for them to process my turn in and they had the nerve to tell me that they would make sure that it shows I turned it in on time. I would assume that it would since I had turned it in 2 days earlier. Why would it not? Because someone at your location didn't do it doesn't mean I didn't do my part. I find this ridiculous and frustrating that I had to take my entire morning convincing the company that I turned this truck in early and it didn't get processed until 2 days later when I went back to the location to complain about it. I'm seriously thinking I'm never going back to this location. Not even sure about using Uhaul in the future. I don't trust them now. Not happy. Not happy at all!
