The customer service sucks. The man the “helped” me at first had a bad attitude and seems like he didn’t wanna help or be at work. How he responds to customers is unacceptable. When he pulled my reservation up he asked me questions one in particular are you bringing it back to this location? I replied and said oh yeah can we?, he quickly replied no. Then he asked again with a attitude, which was rude and irrelevant if he just cut me off and told me I couldn’t. Then he asked me for the location address I was going, I responded with just a street name because I have never before had to tell a representative the exact address I’m going. So he rolled his eyes and stated well can you call someone for a address. Then after a while, he got up and walked away while asking me more questions. However the guy that took over was great. He got me in and out.

I only rent from 5400 old national. All the staff are simply fantastic. Always greet me, courteous and professional. Never ever have I had an issue.

Improve communication with customers to include tone and provide ALL relevant information. People want to know what they are paying for. Also, not everyone who visits your old national location is ghetto or uneducated, so don't engage with them as if they are. I've NEVER had a uhaul company to call my number to ensure it's correct or demand that I provide the number of a friend or family member as an alternate number and then tell me I can't rent the vehicle if I can't provide their number. Shaking my head.

I order a certain truck on the app but get to the store its not available so I have to get something smaller which created multiple trips in result too much mileage so its uhaul fault.

The computer stopped working while people were in line waiting stood in line for over a hr. When I got to the counter the girl didn’t know what she was doing so I had to be moved to the owner/manager for assistance! Started out on the wrong foot but he was able to get me a truck.. they are very over priced as well

I had an outstanding balance of $4.45 from over a year ago that I was unaware of. Despite making a reservation online, speaking with 3 uhaul reps on the phone, and gong through the full rental process with the counter agent; I wasn't made aware of this balance untill after my card was ran and the funds put on hold. At that point I was told I couldn't rent a truck until the balance due was paid on the previous contract. Had I been made aware of this balance prior to it could have been handle correctly.

I would love to actually talk to someone about my concerns. However, my experience was horrible with U-Haul. I ordered a truck through mobile pick up however I was not familiar with the process so I went to the front desk to ask for help. The guy assured me that he saw my reservation which turned out to be one that I made one day prior to the mobile pick up. He argued that I didn’t make a reservation through mobile pickup and I only had a certain amount of time before my movers left. He argued back and forth with me about this for 10 minutes. All the while I just needed to know how to find my truck. This forced me to cancel my online reservation and do one in the store. Which wasted so much time. I was paying with a gift card and he told me I could not pay with that card so I had to pay with another for of payment. The next time I went to rent a truck through mobile pick up. I had no service and stayed in the parking lot for over an hour with my infant screaming in the hot sun. I was stuck on the page that asked me to take a picture of my license , which I had to do 15 times. Once everything went through, during the live verification process I was asked to provide two references and asked all these questions and that took well over 30 minutes. I was so irritated and asked how much longer would it take so I could et back to my movers and get my child back home. Moving is already stressful enough but these experiences just made it 10 times worse....never again!!!

I have experienced one of my worst experiences on this go around. When I initially made my reservation, I requested a 30 day free storage unit in which was provided verbally. However, once I tried to confirm my reservation, it was found that the reservation was never booked as well as this storage facility had no affiliation with U-Haul and it’s 30 day free storage. I then called on numerous occasions to U-Haul to assist me with my storage needs, and they were not able to do so. I also explained to the agent that since the unit was not available as promised that I would need the truck beyond the timeframe that I reserved it for. I have requested that a manager call me back and I have yet to receive a call. Finally, I received an invoice where I am charged an additional day as well as a cleaning charge. I request that the additional charges be removed for the extra day as U-Haul made an error with my reservation that caused me to extend the rental. Also, I would like to see pictures of what needed cleaning as I recall, the only thing left on the unit were the pads that was not folded and the dolly. I have spent a total of roughly 6 hours on hold and/or writing to U-Haul to resolve these issue, yet I haven’t received any feedback from anyone on the U-Haul team. As a customer, I feel that these issues should be acknowledged more promptly with some form of resolution. As you know, moving is very stressful and tiresome, and the last thing anyone want to encounter is problems with their rental truck, storage units, or movers. I encountered all of the above as well as was charged additional fees from U-Haul, storage unit, and the movers. It would be greatly appreciated if U-Haul would absorb some or all of the fees for my inconvenience and overall stress level of the situation. I thank you in advance for looking into this matter and striving into ensuring the best customer satisfaction is obtained.
