Originally I was contracted to drop off in Fairburn, GA at Compass Self Storage. The lady there would not let me leave the trailer and wasn't very pleasant about it. She was willing to let her other customers be inconvenienced by me sitting in her driveway while she was on the phone to uhaul traffic. I expected to be able to drop the trailer where I asked to drop the trailer. As it was I had to pull it another 10 miles or so out of my way. Not happy about that! However when I got to the College Park location, the owner Mr. Tyrone Thompson was very accommodating and helpful. I appreciated that very much. Overall it was a good experience with no problems other than the glitch at the drop off.

When I checked in the miles and fuel did not match what was in the vehicle and the attendant marked it on the doc...but when I returned the assistant manager told me that the document was wrong and did not match the truck I was in and they charged me extra miles and fuel

Your rates should be a lot lower for local rentals, we only had the truck for 3 hours and had to pau over $100, that is outrageous!

The phone customer service staff need to ensure they explain how payment processing works; they explained it as just having a card on file that isn't charged until the truck is returned; when really they should've explicitly stated that the full amount is held on your card until drop off, at which time you can change the form of payment.

I was concerned about the restraint initially placed on my time of use for the vehicle. I was diverted to this location when the vehicle I was to pick up was no longer available and I was promised it for the entire day. Mr. Thompson extended my time til 3 pm for their vehicle. When it became evident I was unable to return it at said time I kept it till about 7 p.m. . I was not charged for the additional time and felt accommodated by his staff. They made a very stressful day a little easier, thank you

tire pressure issue on the first truck - had to inflate tires, the seat belt alarm kept on going off and we had return the truck for a second truck. Second truck we got was fine, but lost about 45 minutes due to the back and forth.

despite online check-in it still took 30mn to pick up trailer, the location had only two staffers who were overworked. On the other hand, the insurance coverage sold was not worthwhile once you read the fine print, which to me is playing the customer perception of being covered until something happens and U-Haul backs up its policy with the fine print, so i rejected it though I would have bought it if it really covered U-Haul equipement rather than my stuff loaded on the trailer.

We left the truck at the facility over night to be picked up the next morning, per an employee's instruction. My son placed his snacks in the truck upon arrival. After we went up stairs to remove some of our belongings to be loaded onto the truck, we came back down to the door handle missing, the door looked as if it had been pryed open with a crowbar. The associates took a look at the issue but were oblivious as to what happened. There is a camera pointed in the direction of the vandalism, we would like to know what happened in that short amount time.
