When reserved at a specific location (Portales) do NOT make the customer drive an additional 42 miles to pick up at a different location. If reserved location doesn't have the unit ... notify the customer of that information at the time they make the reservation!!! Unit was low on power steering fluid and out of alignment.

Vehicle was clean but the maintenance of it was questionable. Brakes seemed soft, check engine light came on after 4 miles is travel. Steering was questionable. Vehicle should have been in better condition with only 119k miles.

Uhaul needs to have the equipment available as promised in the confirmed reservation. When the equipment is scheduled for a later time than the confirmed reservation than Uhaul needs to remain open to process the rental. This location was extremely unorganized and unprofessional.

Colt was a very impressive individual, he was very polite and courteous when I reserved the vehicle. Upon return the individual was rude and not concerned for the customer I don't remember his name. Overall experience was well.

The owner was rude didn't help get the truck. i had to find it on my own in the back of lot that is own by him. He didn't put in the doll and I had to ask for it even to know he knew I had paid for it. Very very rude! I guess you can be this way when you are the only one in town!!

What’s the point of making a reservation? You failed to have the equipment I reserved, on time. I wasn’t notified until 2 days prior to my scheduled pickup. Not much time to make alternate plans. I had to pick up my truck and trailer separately on different days. What a waste of time while I am trying to move. Really dissappinted in some of the service we received from your staff. I was told they would add an extra day onto my contract for the hassle. They failed to do this also. I was charged for that extra day at my drop off location. If I could leave zero stars I would.

I do not have a problem with this place. I do, however, have a problem with u-haul. I reserved a 26 foot truck for a Monday. The Saturday before u-haul called and said there was no 26 foot available. No explanation. No offer to get one around. Just none available. If they allow you to reserve a 26 foot. Then have a 26 foot available.

Would’ve appreciated knowledge about gas mileage. He knew were I was going and he could’ve advised me on how much gas I should put in. In New Mexico and especially were I going there were no gas stations along the way. Returned with way to much gas and NO Refund!! Never have rented a car were they didn’t reimburse!!
