When we arrived there was only one employee working inside. We had arranged for mobile pickup but the cell service was slow, so had to go inside. The employee was friendly and competent, but there was a long wait due to the amount of customers. Over all a good experience, but took longer to pickup than we anticipated.

THIS location was great. However, I made an online reservation to pick up a truck at a Uhaul location on Dekalb industrial way at 8am using the 24/7 service. I got there at 8am and followed the instructions I got in my email. I got to the “pick up my truck” portion and was redirected to a page that told me I WAS confirmed for a 24/7 pick up but, needed to wait until the location opened at 9am to pick up the truck. Already confused and frustrated, we waited until 9am.... while calling Uhaul and waiting over an hour to still get nowhere. At 9am no employee was at the location. We went to the door to see that the store door said “closed until further notice”. After an hour of back and forth, someone with Uhaul told us our truck pick up had been switched to another location. We never got notification of this! And wouldn’t have known unless we spent from 8am until 10am when we FINALLY were able to pick up our truck. The person at our final destination was amazing and got us on our way quickly. She even gave us a lower mileage rate. But, on moving day when time is critical for several different reasons, we were at least 2 hours delayed because of Uhaul. I booked online a week prior! Will never trust to book online again. I think I should be refunded for my truck for the day. I don’t trust to use uhaul services again. Again, the store I ended up at was great- the rest of the experience was awful.

Office staff was really fantastic, friendly and did what they had to do to get my truck ready. for us. Small issue was checked and we were on our way in just minutes.

When I picked up the equipment, the facilities computer wasn't working and supposedly couldn't verify my drivers license. I was required to give a phone number of someone I knew who could verify who I was. This seems like a pointless exercise when I've already presented a photo ID. And it required me to stand at the counter for about 5 extra minutes in the midst of coronavirus time - I'm old and medically susceptible, so I didn't appreciate the wait at all.

I left my gate pass card in the truck When I go back there and ask them They said we ain't seen it The lady that clean the truck when return it Sitting there she said she found nothing I don't know what is going to do with that card Anyway I never use u hul again

The app was very difficult to use. It kept failing to upload pictures and I had to restart 8+ times because my progress wasn't being saved.

With the coronavirus threat I was very hesitant to rent but the ladies in the office were taking it very seriously. The didn’t allow more than three people in the office at a time and it smelled great like bleach and Lysol. They used plastic trays and disinfectant to get transactions clean. Then when I returned the truck she put on rubber gloves and disinfected the interior of the truck with bleach solution. After visiting a few places this was the best virus safety I had seen. A++
