Whomever was responsible for intake on my returned rental mis-recorded the fuel, which resulted in a charge for 2 gallons of gas. I returned it with the gas gauge SIGNIFICANTLY OVER the mark at which I picked it up. Either something else at the location used the truck, or they didn't properly record the gas gauge marker. The only other explanation is that this is a normal scam that UHaul runs to generate additional revenue, but such a thing would be fraud.BRYAN C.

The area had poor signage on where to return and there was no location on Google to find the building. The address given worked just fine, but I could not find the store hours, phone number to call them, etc. The gentleman who showed up when I was dropping off though was extremely helpful.Kevin W.
This was by far the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with U haul. The pick up location and drop off location were both completely fine, friendly, and always helpful, but the experience having to deal with the U-Haul system was horrible! It took me over one hour 10 minutes to get the system to work to allow me to move on with the truck. It was because of a heavy user load in the system on U haul's end not being capable of dealing with it. I finally was able to get a representative on the phone, to which she questioned my phone service (which was fine and other web pages worked perfectly) then after going through things with her and having to wait at times because her system was slow and experiencing problems as well. In short I spent over an hour waiting in a parking lot because a u haul service end problem, and it ended up costing me additional money and taking a completely unreasonable amount of time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but didn't fix an issue we had with the truck. The actual mileage of the truck was different than what UHaul had documented online (8,700 range for actual mileage vs 27,000 range for listed mileage online - we think maybe they gave us the wrong truck?). As we were checking in with staff, we were unable to change the mileage number to reflect the actual mileage of the truck. The staff member we worked with said "it's okay, I'll have them fix it." Alas, when we came to return the truck (on a Sunday, had to do it online as this location is closed on weekends and no staff were present), we entered the final mileage of the truck only to receive an error message from the website. I spent at least 20-30 mins on hold for a customer service representative before the very friendly lady that answered the phone effortlessly fixed the issue for us as she had the before and after pictures of the dash. The staff at this location should have made that call for us when we picked up the truck as that is their job, not mine. We had just moved the day before and were exhausted, had our dog with us, and had to stand around the parking lot for what seemed like forever trying to make sure we had everything sorted out before we locked the truck and put the key in the drop box. The gentleman who assisted me in A) my rental agreement B) attaching the trailer to my truck and C) helping me back in and detaching the trailer from my truck, was an absolute hero. This was my first trailer rental with my new truck and I couldn't have done it without him. The uhaul truck needed serviced or an alignment, at interstate speeds the steering was not tight, it felt wobbly and didn't drive well.Zackary H.

Your system for mobile pick is unbelievably bad. I wouldn't tell anyone to use your service, truck was great. Service was fine until you wanted my passport.. you'll be fine without out me, but I hit 12,000 plus people on my social media to let them know how poor your systems were. No one was on site. I was prepared to pick up the truck at 10 AM. I had to contact online support who then stated I had to call a local UHaul representative. I waited on hold for 20 minutes and finally got access to the truck after waiting for 45 minutes. Very disappointed.Theodore D.

I found the app confusing for the pickup. I remember taking a photo of my drivers license three times in the process before I could proceed. It took longer than I expected and finally I had to chat with someone to find out that the app asked for the wrong thing. It asked for a picture of my drivers license but the chat said I needed a selfie instead, without my glasses.....John D.

My complaints are for both the location and Uhual customer service. The salesman was 45 minutes late to a scheduled 12pm pickup time. He smelled of marijuana and was clearly high. Upon arriving, he found the computer system to be down (apparently this a regular problem with Uhual). He didn't not know or have the proper paperwork to fill out and release the trailer manually even though I had paid online in full. Additionally, calling customer service, they were rude, condescending and also lack the knowledge (or maybe they just didn't care) on how to fill out paperwork to manually release the trailer. I sat there for an additional hour while they did pretty much nothing... they even tried to get a supervisor or manager on the line, but he/she, who I never got to talk to, had no idea what to do either. The situation was resolved when the computers came back online. This is unacceptable and for future moves I will be hard pressed to use a Uhual facility... although judging by the conversations and character of the above associates, I'm not sure it will matter. When I arrived to pick up at 2:30 the doors were locked, nobody there. I had to go to the business next door to ask if they were affiliated. They said no, go bang on an overhead door on the attached building. Person was inside and called the u-haul guy, he got there @ 2:50. When he got there he was great! When I returned there was nobody there as he had indicated and that I needed to use the app. No problem, except the app did not work. called u-haul number and after 20+ minute wait an operator came on line, Lourdes Suarez. SHE WAS GREAT!!! she walked me though setting on my phone but it still did not work, so she did it over the phone and I sent her a picture of the dashboard. She handled it. But all in all the return process was @ 40 mins. So for a 2 hr use of the van, the pickup and return wasted over two hours of our time. Brian Hill 513-703-0026Brian H.
