There was 2 to 3 workers working at the time but I still waited over 30 to 45 minutes in line just to pick up my motorcycle trailer I had on RESERVE earlier in the day. Just because the other employee thought it was more important to stock shelves or mope around store than help a line full of customers. Great location but HORRIBLE customer service.
No parking for customers. Original fee says 19.95, but I was charged 29.95. I do not know the reason.
Personable representative and quick service
I was very impressed and everything was taken care of for me very quickly. It took less than 5 minutes for me to drop off my trailer and the attendant had it off of my vehicle instantly and I was on my way.
The staff was great, but the trailer wiring was damaged. So the staff had to grab a different wiring kit. Just added time to the pickup. The staff did their best to get me out the door.
I had issues with my storage unit access card and waited for a staff member to go to the loading dock to help me but he never heard the page and I had to walk all the way to the customer service front desk and wait in line all over again. Other than that, staff members were extremely friendly and helpful.
I was very impressed by the person processing my request, she was very efficient and helpful.

The 24/7 or â€œon your phoneâ€ pickup process was very confusing. There is no clear direction as to where you park or begin, at first I thought I was in the wrong place, left to try a different entrance and came back. Finally after a million questions I was prompted to â€œfind my truckâ€ that I had reserved a week in advance. After wandering around the lot for 10-15 minutes without finding it, it prompted me to look for a different truck that was actually in the return line. At this point I was so confused and flagged a worker down, who said it would have to be cleaned before I could take it. I told her that this process had already eaten 20+ minutes into my reservation (I came 10 minutes early as recommended) and how confusing this was and all she said was â€œI knowâ€. It ended up working out okay, but definitely added stress to our little move. Long story short, go in and talk to someone if you can VS choosing this option.
Excellent customer experience! I made the mistake of forgetting the dolly at the move site and there was no problem in returning this later that day. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone.
Jackie, is the best customer service person there, hands down and we rent there a lot and have storage there, so great work Jackie !!!

Don't polish the back of van as much so that the floor isn't slippery.
I was over charged when I dropped off after hours and I followed all instructions and still was charged a late few. The last time I rented from U-haul it was the same thing but also gas. I never want to return after hours again!! It seems to be how you rip people off.
Issue with online checking, issue was not unique to me that day. I ended up canceling the online check in and did it with a person. So my advice would be to tell the staff to encourage people who are waiting too long for an application approval to just complete a traditional check in. Everything else was great, and all of the staffâ€”both during pick up and drop offâ€”were very nice and accommodating, even though you can tell they were very busy.
Vanessa was very rude not nice. I told her my truck was dirty .it haven't been clean, swept and dirty ash tray . Dirty inside windows. She tells me that'd not my truck. Bu6 it was n\my truck. I had furniture pads missing as well. She didn't really care about her customer. I wouldn't have employees with that type of attitude working for me . She tells me they didn't clean the truck last night , I dont work for UHaul not my problem . She said it had a full tank of gas another lie and also the mileage was wrong another lie. U-haul should make there employees check their truck and equipment at night and before rental its just too lazy for me. U haul is really disappointing ! This location is lacking customer service and cleanliness and being truthful and not cheating your customer about equipment.
App freezes often when trying to reserve/check in
While everything was great when picking up the equipment, I was disappointed that the pick-up location was changed on me after I had made my reservation. I was going to pick up the truck from the site on Broadway (just a few blocks from where I was staying) and was forced to drive MILES to pick up the truck from Fullerton Ave (without an explanation). That added time and miles to my already packed day.

Have more equipment in my neighborhood so I don't have too go too another neighborhood too rent. I live on the Westside off Chicago theres a U haul on Cicero just off North Avenue. But I had too go on Fullerton and Pulaski too rent.
Get road construction complete at the exit.
