Fix passenger door on vehicle.....have service attendant ask if there were any issues with the vehicle during my rental

Did not perform a walk through, truck I was assigned to was not available, was just given a truck I asked if it needed to be checked out I was told no it's good to go, I drove to Marion IL to pick up auto transport and found the driver side headlight was out as well as passenger side back up light, there was a huge dent the length of the trailer caused by someone who had the truck before me condition of truck was shotty at best. Had to drive all the way back to Cape to get another truck again there was no walk around and the girl gave me keys showed me where the truck was and took off before I could ask any questions. Poorly run location I understand places get busy but there was no reason the employees could not be at least somewhat professional. If I had known it would have been such a hassle I would have paid the extra money and used the Carbondale office which was a pleasure to work with when I had them look at the truck before I drove it back to Cape

Try to lower your per mile rate when you also have to refill the truck before you return it. I feel like it's a little double dipping in my pocket when you're paying for fuel two different ways.

Forgot to put the two dollies and pads I had ordered into the truck, so I had to make a separate trip to pick those up. Also was not given a chance to inspect the truck and car transport before signing the paperwork.

Truck operated ok and was clean on the inside. Location rented from was understaffed. Wait time was horrid. Explanation of billing not good. Major fiasco getting final bill paid. Called corporate and they weren’t any better. Never again using Uhaul and this store should probably go out of business. Good thing there are other options.

Well I guess when I called and reserved the truck I wanted .I was transferred to a call center and to the actual place I was trying to call.i was told that they would have the size n there would also be other size available if needed..when I got there at the time was agreed upon .I was told that they didn't have any trucks for me.they had to talk to a manager n then they looked again n chose to bump someone else to a bigger size truck and give me a truck..so for the call center n the actual place not able to communicate with each other or actually see what they have or what's left on the lot for that day..I would say that isn't very business like or not organized for a business..so I will be very hesitant to rent again or at least renting on the phone or prob the internet.i would only go in and rent in person.when people depend on u having a truck for u to rent n really working around your system is very scary.i hope uhaul takes this comment n really look on this situation..I just hope it never happens to anybody else and maybe one day u actually don't have a truck to spare..I was a lucky one..but I do appreciate them working it out for me.thank you to the workers at that store.

They only had one person working on a Friday which made things slow. It took a hour to get the truck and leave. Very slow

I had a reservation for a truck at 8 am. I called the day before to see if 7 am would be ok. Gentleman told me absolutely not 8 was the earliest because someone was bringing the truck back that morning which I thought was odd I called back a few min later about another issue and a woman said I could actually pick up the truck the day before since it was a 24 hour rental. It was there ready to go!

The agent was very rude he's the worst person i ever meet in my life. I went to pickup a trailer. I stand in front of him waiting to process my credit card and give me the receipt. He lets me stand for 20 minutes in front of him while he takes care 6 customes that was in a ligne behind me. When i tell him i nèed to go because i am busy he told me to take my business elsewhere. And he been very disrespecfull. The worst part i dont know if it was because i stand up for my right he's over charge me. My service suppose to cost me no more than $ 70 he charge me $110. I realise that because i rent the same trailer for the same time for $62. I am going to discùss it with the manager.

Driver side headlight was out. Windows were filthy with bugs and bird crap. Be sure to check the vehicle out thoroughly before handing off to a customer. On way to destination stopped at four u-haul locations to have the headlight fixed. All but one were closed. The one that was open could not repair headlight.

The windshield was filthy, the emergency brake was extremely hard to use. The truck was very hard to handle and had a lot of miles for a trip this far. The engine light came on for the first part of the trip but then went off. I never drove over 65 with the truck. The gage for gas conservation did not work. There were issues with our reservation as I had asked for an additional day. I have used Uhaul on many occasions this was by far my worst experience.

The poor lady working on a Sunday was the only one there. She was too busy to be by herself. Then when something wasn’t right she told me to call U-Haul and they would fix it - which was completely wrong but I didn’t find that out until much later. Thank goodness for intown family who could get the situation fixed or else it would have been a bigger disaster.

I had a 7am reservation, but the employee was late. The employee arrived 15 minutes late. He then gave me a uhaul that was dirty and out of gas. He gave me a $10.50 credit towards gas. My first stop was the gas station where it took almost double to get the tank to 1/4 full. Upon returning The truck, a different employee Found damage to the truck which I know I did not cause. The second employee was nice and understanding, but I’m still unhappy with having to wait around and then spend a fortune in gas just to get started .
