Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulThis was a completely unprofessional handling of my reservation and rental. I received a call at approximately 11am on the day of my rental asking if I can come an hour later than scheduled to pick up my reserved truck. I could not because I had already packed, arranged for movers, and had to vacate the premises. I came to pick up my truck at the reserved 1:30pm time, but the truck was unavailable. I was forced to wait for an hour for the previous renter to return with the 20' truck. There was a 15' truck that was available but it would have been too small. When the previous renter returned the truck, the truck was messy and dirty and he specifically said "haha, it was like that when I picked it up.". I had to take the truck quickly as it was since I was already running an hour behind. I had to arrange for more movers, and had to make a second trip to make up for the lost time, which not only increased the KMs travelled, but also the gas spent. I was not compensated in any way for the 1 hour delay. Further, there was nobody who worked at Meta Joints that was available to speak to. In fact, the store was closed because they were having some sort of a staff party. The parking lot was full, and there was only a nearby neighbouring business owner who said he's just helping out because Meta Joints was having a party. So he was of no help because he couldn't make any decision or do anything other than relay the message to me. This was absolutely the worst experience I had ever had with a truck rental place, and I would never ever go here again nor recommend them to anyone. If there was a way to select zero stars, I would. Absolutely terrible all around.
Sasa MMy pick up was delayed 90mins because they could not find the key. The customer service person was fantastic, and indicated that she would put something on my file to mitigate some of my costs. The final blow was being charged for gas? I had a 1/4 tank of gas and brought it back slightly below 1/2 a tank. I travelled 115 miles was charged for 150 miles. Makes one think that moving forward. U-Haul is NOT going to be an option. Very disappointed!

Malik KI dropped the vehicle off. It was closed because of a holiday but there was no parking available. I also got the email how to return it after I dropped it off and put the keys in the box.
