Despite the rental agent checking the trailer tail lights and saying they were working, they did not. However, didn't find it out until 5:30 AM on moving day. Due to moving deadline constraints and multiple moving parts we could not wait for the store to open to get a replacement trailer (if they had one). So, had to buy a magnetic replacement taillight set and make it work (which it didn't and was a TOTAL waste of money). The whole situation made the stress of moving even worse. I will go out of my way to avoid this uhaul location in the future and tell my friends to do the same. Also, rental agent didn't wear a mask at all despite a sign on the door asking people to wear a mask. HORRIBLE experience all the way around.DAWN T.

My reservation was scheduled for 9:00am. I arrived about 10 minutes early. The employees arrived at 9:00am entered only the lock the door behind themselves. If you give someone a reservation for 9am they don't expect to wait for tardy employees to open the place. I received a call the following day from U-Haul asking me if I was going to return the truck. I informed them that the truck was returned the same day. To top off the experience, I was billed improperly and was emailed someone else's receipt. Never again.KERRI L.

The staff is poorly trained, unmotivated, some are unprofessional and inconsiderate. Also, most of the trucks are filthy and poorly maintained, the last vehicle that I rented, had globs of mud covering the entire rear of the truck. The facility has no high-pressure hose to wash down the vehicles.RONALD G.

There was no dolly available when I picked up the Van. I really needed it. Also, I didn't really understand the estimate. The estimate with the dolly was $37, and my actual total without the dolly was$65.GISELLE R.
The front clerk and another employee told me to bypass the odometer digital check in because they did not want to correct it manually. The odometer was off by over a hundred miles. When returning, i could not check in online because the mileage was wrong. I contacted 24/7 care to notate the account that I called to correct and document the incident. I wake up this morning to a receipt for those miles that were incorrect after being told by customer service the location will see her memo and that nothing else is required from me. When I drive to the store to correct , I'm told "people who checked it in are new" and that the manager will call to correct later. Now I'm out of $300 until the manager refunds and that could take days to reimburse. For this to occur after contacting several points of hierarchy as instructed should be avoided by making employee redo the contract instead of using habits to bypass that cost me hundreds of dollarsWHITNEY T.

You can have the specifically reserved truck ready at the appointed pick-up time; not offer to "upgrade" to a larger (more difficult to drive, more gas-guzzling) truck; empathize with the customer's concerns and offer an apology instead of being rude and self-righteous; make sure the exact agreed-upon return location is confirmed, instead of saying you can't offer that location, but the customer can call the 800 number and ask for it (again). There seems to be a huge disconnect between corporate marketing (pick the size truck you need, and the location you need to pick it up from) and the local stores, who tell you they don't have the truck you requested, but you can get the "upgrade" (again, too large, using more gas) at a different, very inconvenient, location. It made me think I was working with U-Hell. On the positive side, the truck itself handled well, had good visibility, and didn't have any mechanical problems on my lengthy (1150 mile) trip.SUE W.
Danielle did a fantastic job of making our rental work. I had a reservation for a one way trip but they accidentally let the one way truck get rented. I have been charged 3 separate times for a 12 hour rental. When I called and spoke to the manager, she told me she would refund the additional charges. Instead of processing a refund, she ended up doing another charge. Will not be back to this location. Very unprofessionalLAUREN T.

Had an 8am confirmed reservation. Location opened at 9. The people as they showed up showed no concern for how this messed up my plans. Told them I had an 8am res as they entered the store at 8:45am and they told that was not there problem. I would recommend that the person who checked me out learn some basic manners. A â€œthank youâ€, â€œpleaseâ€ using â€œsirâ€ would have been a nice touch. He essentially barked at me when I attempted to unhitch the trailer. I believe his name was Jahme (Buford location). Next time I'm going to just use a different location. He refused to give me his first name so I found it from another employee . Not the best. Maybe he was having a bad day. You can confirm his name as he was the one who checked me out from the back.PAUL S.
I left my mother in law gift inside the van today when I left the van. She got promoted for her good police work so I wish I can get it back tomorrow at that location. Its next to the driver seat on the floor. Ill will call them tomorrow when they open at 9am so hopefully it is still there. If not i will try to ask my mother in law for her help. And over all experience it was ok. The mileage on the car was little over and the paper it was lower than the cars mileage meter.HEE C.
