The trailer I rented was very old and should be taken out of service. The door seal was brittle and cracked and did not keep water from getting in through the door of the trailer.

When I was being assisted during my rental check-out and check-in, there were times when the staff was discussing internal issues and not focusing on the customer. As an example was that some asked my agent what he did about picking up the trash. They carried on a conversation about the trash in the inside waste bins, just stopping helping me. I would recommend that they finish with customers, then have their internal conversations.

They could not find the truck keys for the ten foot truck I reserved. I had to take a larger truck. But employees were very professional and thoughtful.

I hate when the trucks are not full with gas. At a quarter tank, I had to get gas a the beginning of the rental. Luckily, I guessed correctly on how much gas I needed and did not have to get it again at the end of the rental. Also... I have not yet had a truck with headlights that I would consider adequate. They usually aim about 5 feet in front of the truck. Is it possible to adjust the headlights so they aim further in front of the trucks??

Make sure you read the gas levels correctly when checking trucks out. Almost was charged for gas i refilled and only went 10 miles accused of using a quarter of a tank. Which is impossible.

We were blocked in by U-Haul and a trailer. My husband and I had to manually lift and move the trailer ourselves in order to get out! I hurt my shoulder in the process and have an appointment with my doctor this week. Absolutely unacceptable!

Inform representatives that if you're assisting someone inside the store and a customer calls in, ask the on hold customer for their number and return the call once the inhouse customer has been serviced instead of asking the inhouse customer to hold on while the representative completely assist the call in customer. I HATE that!

Location and customer service is always great. This was my first time renting a trailer, great inventory but the lot was quite full and it was difficult moving into position to pickup and drop off the trailer.

I’m going to be Honest. We called Tom in the Buford Store. Ga-20. Very Nice Individual. He done a Good Job. But your RATES FOR A U-Haul was High. I rented a 6’ by 12’ Trailer. It cost me $226.00 For less than 9 Hours. Yes I pulled it 237 Miles. To move some Furniture. To Sparks, Ga. Then carried the Unit to Nashville to drop it off.

I had called 800 numbrt reserve trailor they took numbet 4 callbk . waited never got call. Also b good put in computer which locstions offer cargo vans. Buford store got chewed out for call ctr reservin cargo van. The guy had to of spoke with 800 an they got chewed out. Even though they professionally. Handledit wasn't rt for them to repeadally get cewed out over it. Thank u. M J Gantes

I scheduled a specific vehicle weeks in advance for a Thursday and a Sunday. I needed a cargo van, and nothing larger due to height restrictions. I called a few days before to confirm because I didn't need any hiccups this weekend. When we arrived to pick up our van, there was not a van available and my husband was sent to another location to get one. When he arrived, he was told they did not have one either. We had to get a box truck and it made everything much harder than it needed to be. We turn around on Sunday and have the EXACT same situation after confirming on Saturday. We were really unhappy with both experiences and will likely drive a little further to utilize Uhaul services the next time I need it.

I drove 12 miles in an attempted to retrieve a truck via mobile pick-up however, the truck did not have the key onsite. I called for assistance, uhaul rep talked me through the steps again, and i confirmed that the key was not onsite. Rep then made a new reservation confirming that i would not be charged for the old reservation. The new reservation was 12miles away towards where i originally lived. The new reservation was the not the same sized vehicle and i had to make two trips while moving. Nevertheless 2nd reservation cs was great. The following day i see that i was charged for both reservations. CS is currently trying to resolve my issue. I wasted a lot of valuable time, truck and equipment was not ready and i was given incorrect information.

Nothing I had a great experience and the men who worked at the Buford location Gary and Tom were amazing and helped me with all my needs . I will definitely go to that location next time I need a U-Haul !
