The guy I spoke to on the phone was rude and very unwilling to help make the experience easy. I ordered online and he made me contact U-Haul with the questions I had when what I requested was something he could have accommodated
The location and people were great U-Haul charged me an insane amount which was wrong and still waiting for it to be resolved
This location must not have much Uhaul traffic as the gentleman who checked us out seemed to have a lot of trouble with the system. The location is an auto repair shop that rents Uhauls on the side and there were constant interruptions from phone calls and walk ups while trying to get me checked out. A 10 minute transaction took nearly an hour. This is exactly the experience I was trying to avoid by reserving my vehicle at the main Uhaul center on Capitol Drive in Wauwatosa. Instead, I got a call at 5pm the day before and was informed that I would be picking up at this auxiliary location about 3 blocks from the main Uhaul center. Had I known that I wouldn't be picking up from the main Uhaul center on Capitol Drive as I had requested, I would have rented from a location that was closer to home and much less expensive. I drove 30 miles to this location when I could have had the same experience at the local auto repair/Uhaul shop 5 minutes from my house.
The only issue I had was with the moving helpers I got while checking out through uhaul. Horrible movers. Don't use promovers.
The truck I rented was the horrible. The steering wheel was at the 3 o'clock position and shook at any freeway speeds. Asked to exchange before taking it 600 miles with everything I own but it was the only one in the state. I will not use uhaul again
Need better communication between employees. Didn't need two verification of pick up time calls while busy packing.
The reason for my rating is that it was my first time renting a u-haul and the return process was not explained to me during the rental process. This caused a lot of confusion and distress during my experience. Otherwise the rental was incident free.
Fast and efficient. Even pulled the U Haul up, warmed it up and scraped the windshield.
This was the third location I was given to pick up my trailer all of which I learned about because I called ahead to see if it was available. Unexcuseable!!!!! I will never use Uhaul again and tell everyone I know the same.
Nothing - Very easy to pick up.
The men who helped us at the desk were nice. The tuck it self was newer and nice but the inside of the truck wasn't swept out. It was very dirty. We rented two bags of the moving pads. Those were used and dirty. The moving pads were just thrown all over the back of the uhaul. We had to take all the moving pads back and ask for new ones.

Make sure there aren't a truck full of ants, and they messed up on the mileage had me going 30000 miles over and I hadn't even left the city of Milwaukee
Couldn't find drop off box. Didn't even know the location existed. Signage is very poor.
Make the drop-off box more prominent and noticeable.
They lie about mileage and charge you more than you owe.
Make sure the dolly is in the truck. I had to make a special trip back to pick up the dolly.
It would be nice if there was a step put on the 15 foot truck so that it is easier to get in and out of. other than that it was great
It was not the location I requested and was too far out of my way. Their computer charging system did not work which ended up clearly frustrating the store owner who was focused on closing early. Though the person who attended me was nice and patient.
Great that we could pick up in Brookfield and drop off in Madison. I felt we could have eaten off the floor of the Uhaul.
This was my preferred pickup location. However, my actual pickup location was supposed to be in Germantown. When I called U-Haul directly to confirm that my 26' truck was there hours before pickup, they let me know it was not, and they could only offer me 2 - 10 foot trucks at the original location instead. I had to take the offer because we were closing on our home the next day and needed to move. How to improve? Ensure the truck that a customer reserves is there!!!!! Have a backup plan if there is not (2 - 10' trucks is not a sufficient backup plan. Our load did NOT fit and we ended up needing a third. The inconvenience of driving 3 trucks to move was outrageous, not to mention the cost of putting insurance on all 3). The customer service of U-Haul was awful. They argued with me that I was getting a great deal out of this, and never once apologized for not having my truck ready.
This location took-in my U-HAUL when the first place that's was assigned to me rejected the truck because he didn't wants it!!! Gordon's took the truck without question!!! If you represent a company, you should accept all company terms and regulations. If the customers have to agree to the terms, then U-HAUL representatives should agree to the terms also!!!!
The staffer helping me was professional and courteous. However, I had reserved a full-size appliance dolly through the website the day before, only to find that this location did not have this in stock. The staffer was considerate enough to let me rent the smaller utility dolly that was still on site at no extra charge, although that was of limited utility given some of my needs. In the future, please make sure your smaller sites have more rentable equipment dollies and similar items, for if I had known about the shortage, I would have rented a dolly from a local hardware store or Home Depot/Lowe's for the same competitive price prior to getting the truck (saving mileage charges for an in-town move).
Have vehicle ready and have correct accessories available as indicated when I reserved online.
