the trailer fell ood of my pickup truck within the first 5 miles which left me dragging the trailer by the chains down the road. I stopped to re-install the trailer and the safety brake had deployed andxwas so corroded that it took me 15 minutes to get the brake back into position and half a can of wd40 and it threw my back out . I tried to call the uhaul office I picked it up from and could only get a regional operator that just said oops sorry. CRAPPY SERVICE !!!! never will I trust someone else to install and tighten down a trailer for me.

Barely any trucks were available the one small truck I did get was repainted inside and was rented to me while the paint was still wet so your truck got paint on my speaker and only god whatever else.

The trailer we requested/reserved was not available so we had to accept a smaller one requiring two trips. The attendant did compensate us by reducing the cost of the smaller trailer, but there was no way he could compensated the time difference for two trips.

This u-haul transaction was the worst customer service experience of my life. They got my reservation wrong no fewer than 4 times and I was never able to contact the specific store where I rented the truck. over the course of the two weeks that I was dealing with uhaul, I called the phone number of this location at least ten times and was always sent to a regional call center each time. Every time I talked to someone form the call center, I asked to be transferred to the north boulder location and they said they would put me through only to transfer me to another regional call center representative. I had to go to the location multiple times just to talk to them and on one of those occasions I asked an employee if there was a way I could reach them there at that specific store. His answer was that if their phones were off, all calls would go straight to the call center. I understand that it was a busy time for uhaul, but sometimes customers need to talk to people at a specific location. One example is that I needed to put regular unleaded gas into the truck and had stopped at two different gas stations that only had E85. I called to ask about the gas stations in the area, but of course could not get someone at the north boulder store. Up until this time I was already having a bad experience with uhaul, But the worst part came when I returned the truck. When I pulled up a guy came out to finish the transaction and noticed a scratch on the side of the truck. I wasn't concerned because i had paid for the insurance and we DID NOT do a walk around when i picked up the truck. I have rented trucks from other places in the past where if you get the insurance, they said we didn't need to do a walk around because it didn't matter. I figured this was the case when I picked up the truck and didn't think it was weird that we didn't do the walk around. I did sign the paper the employee handed me when he handed it to me because he had just had me read off the mileage and gas level so I thought that was what I was signing about and didn't read the paper thoroughly. After talking to the employee who checked me in, he decided to go get the general manager. When the general manager came out he was rude and combative from the moment he opened his mouth. The first thing that he said was (in an aggressive tone) "You're going to have to pay for that. You're responsible for the damage." There was no assessment of the situation or even an introduction or anything. He came out and was rude and aggressive from the start. Now I may be stuck paying the insurance deductible because they didn't do their job properly and I didn't thoroughly read a piece of paper. I do understand that I did sign the piece of paper, but preforming the walk around is also the responsibility of the uhaul employees. I will avoid using uhaul whenever possible in the future and will certainly never be dealing with the north boulder location again.

a lot of employees; however, a little confusion on who could check me out (using cell phones and app). Also, some did not know that I had to call a 800 number first to "register for drop off" before they could take the dolly....... overall it was a good drop off.

The staff at the location could have cared less about their appearance and/or their vehicles. The change oil light was on in the vehicle and they said it was fine, that it didn't matter. The inside of the vehicle was FILTHY (entire dash was covered in dust/dirt, seats super stained) and smelled TERRIBLE. My dog didn't even want to get in the vehicle.

Recommend to a Friend: Yes and No is the real answer. Lack of parking over 30 min makes it a pain to come down by yourself to pick up the truck. Though parking is near by Mon-Friday most of it is 2 hour only. These questions are for this location. Overall my Uhual is experience was pretty terrible as I had to spend an extra 30+ dollars due to the only available truck being in another town.
