We checked the lights before leaving and everything was working. On our way we stopped for gas east of Iowa City. Somewhere along the way the trailer wire got frayed and we did not have lights on the trailer. Fortunately we were at the I80 truck stop that had just about everything needed, however, the wire that worked with the proper attachment was too short to replace the wire. So, I was able to remove some wire from my purchase and splice it with the wire that was on the trailer. Used to medical tape to cover it up and it worked.

It was pouring rain the entire time, and had to go out numerous times in rain to attempt to take photos. First person on help line had to refer me to second person Very inefficient.

Very very unhappy with my u haul experience this time.
