I reserved my trailer about 10 days ahead of time and received a confirmed reservation 1 miles from my house. There is another U-Haul location in the opposite direction on hwy 31 in Vestavia Hills, AL, too. The day before pickup I received a text that I was now supposed to pickup the trailer 35 minutes away from my house. I had to spend my entire work lunch break the day I received the text talking to 5 or 6 scheduling support representatives requesting any kind of help so I would not have to spend my entire lunch hour the next day driving to FORESTDALE, AL to pick up the trailer. There were not able to help. Even though the gentleman at the pick up location was very polite and very helpful (one of the nicest people I have ever met), I had to sit in his car repair garage for a while during the intake session, which I thought I had already completed online. Also If i would have needed any additional supplies for moving this location would not have any. I've been renting trucks and trailers from from U-Haul since ~1995 and this was my worse experience ever.

The man was pleasant and got me checked in explaining everything well
Sherry MThis location is in an automotive repair shop. Grease, oil and filth throughout the building!!! The representative who was dressed very unprofessionally, literally lit a cigarette in front of me without asking “Do you mind?” or “excuse me while I step away”. Again, this was an automotive repair shop and I should NOT have expected more!!! I would recommend everyone try other locations first. They did, however, have the toy hauler that I needed.
