We got to the address and it turns out to be a Ramada Inn. No signs of any kind to indicate where to pickup the truck. There were no UHaul trucks in sight either. Once I took a guess and went in the hotel to find out if that was where you are supposed to pick up the truck, the people you deal with were not friendly or welcoming at all. There was a bit of a language barrier to overcome as well. Also the people were having trouble completing the pickup process.

I will never rent another UHaul that I can’t pick up at a main location.
David MI reserved the truck at UHAUL 1024 Montgomery Highway in Vestavia Hills AL several weeks in advance. The lady working at that location could not have been more rude. "We aint got no trucks" and when I showed her my printed reservation, she simply said, " aint my problem, we aint got no trucks." After calling U-Haul we were sent to the Messer Airport location which is ran out of the back of a run down Ramada hotel. They had one truck which sounded like it was missing a muffler. We took it because we were desperate. Whole morning was a disaster.
Michael MI would recommend due to location only…I reported an issue with the truck…driver door had trouble closing unless slammed and back door would not close when returned as it stuck…staff didn’t seem to care.
