They said I went 37 miles and I did not when I left Uhaul I went home and that was .9miles and from my house to legion fleld is 1.9 miles from legion field back to my house 1.9 miles we unloaded the truck did and it was not move again until I took it back to Uhaul again that was .9 miles. I rented the van for AM & State Classic only""" were they got 37 miles from I don't know .

I was dissatisfied with my experience on yesterday. I was charged for a service the I did not reserve for on my reservation online. When truck was return the associate was trying to charge an additional amount my card had already been charged once. She was very rude and not professional, she could not reserve my issue and also stated that the truck was not returned on time and it was . When I talked to another associate from another location that stated my card did not need to be charged a different amount unless I went over my miles. the associate also did not have my truck checked back in when it was returned. I do not want to be charged and additional charge saying that I kept the truck out to long.

I was 5 mins from my location to pick up supplies for the hurricane and the back of truck came up. So we stopped and was about to close it when we noticed a hood to one of your other trucks in it. We had to drive all the way back to get another truck and we were late to our appt. And once we brought it back they did not offer any compensation but to drive another truck. And they wanted us to fill the gas tank back up. I dont feel as if we should have had to do so.

I called to reserve and we directed to the first location. The reservation clerk was aware I was coming from Knoxville and not familiar with the area. I was directed to a location in Birmingham only to find out it was closed causing me to have to go 30 minutes out of my way on an already tight time schedule. I specifically asked if the initial location was open to avoid this situation and was told yes. It was a significant inconvenience.

The first young lady I spoke with had my pickup in Connecticut when I only live 3 minutes away from the location. I called like a hour before I was supposed to drop the truck back off to ensure there wouldn’t be any extra fees if I brought it back later than I had scheduled, and the lady I spoke with notified me that I would not be charged extra. So I called afterwards to see what my total and exactly how much would be placed back on my card only to find out that I actually OWED you guys. She stated it was because who ever I spoke with the night before did not notate the system that I was bring it back late & that I wouldn’t be charged. Thankfully they lady I spoke with today did whatever and ended evening it out so that I wouldn’t owe but I still wouldn’t be able to get my deposit back. I went against my better judgement and experience of others to shop with you all and still got sucky service and my money taken. This company always getting over on people and stealing their money and it’s ridiculous. I will make sure I tell anyone who is considering doing business with you all not to.

This location was good. The first i ess sent to sucked. Nobody there, dirty. I was then sent to Ist Ave; they did not have the truck i needed, was then sent to Avondale; same thing. Finally got to Bessemer (15 miles away) and got what i needed. Central office tried very hard to help, just didnt have a lot of support in the field.

Equipment btoke down, they towed the truck to my new home hours later but all the assitant i had helping to load and unload had left and i still had two more trips to make, to make a long stoty short i had to rent another truck and no discount was given.

I have used this location several times and have been pleased in the past however this past weekend i was very disappointed with the service. The cashier did not have proper change in the store to take care of her customers. I had to help her break down larger bills for customers. I reserved my truck online and appliance dolly. When i arrived at my home to move there was no appliance dolly. After returning to the store to get the dolly i was informed they did not have any in the store. The customer services representative was very nice and said i could use the utility dolly for free however it made my move very difficult with out the equipment that i reserved. When i returned the truck i was charged for extra miles on the truck. I explained that it was not my fault that they did not provide me with the dolly and the extra miles were a result of them not having what I needed. I was still forced to pay for the extra miles.

The truck smoked the whole time I had it. The Power Steering made a horrible noise when turning and the exterior of the truck was pretty beat up. Over all the mobile app was easy to use, just too many steps.

Ammie was rude beyond measures had no Customer Service like I was invisible I was on phone with a Uhaul rep they are trying to get in touch with her she won't answer phone Iam at the door pointing at the phone she throws her hand up like we are closed waves me off its way after 6:00 my pick up she cones out to clean return trucks still not paying me any attention I call her 3 time each time I have to get louder all while my call is on speaker phone with the Uhaul rep listening once Ammie realize that she is being heard by the rep she becomes very pissed saying good lord oh my goofing and storm off the Rep is too shocked as to what she is hearing she told me she was sending 2 email about Ammies rudeness go a listen to your recorded call you can hear for yourself she was even rude enough to continue to sweep as I was trying to talk the broom actually touch me I let the rep know and the rep just went off that when Ammie want to treat me like a paying Customer Bottom line Maybe a Uhaul rep should give everyone whom set up a Uhaul account for self pick up a follow up call to make sure everything is ok did not learn I needed to download a Uhaul app until I was rudely treated I was using a email that said click here with my account number rep stated that my purchase just might be on them (Uhaul) because my entire call form beginning to end was recorded I will never use Fairgrounds location again told a lot of my associates about My ordeal word of moth is everything for the record Iam African American / Ammie is white??????? Read between the lines
