After attempting to check in truck at two other locations, agents were rude and would not take the truck, this agent went out of her way to correct records and accept the truck at her location. We have rented your trucks several times in the last 3-4 years and have never had a problem before, but in a busy city such as Birmingham, it was a problem to check in truck. All agents should be able to check a vehicle in at the closest location of arrival. At some locations, agents need to be more customer oriented. It took one and a half hours to turn in a rental truck.

Owner was rude and charged me for under a 55.00 for saying that I returned the vehicle under a 1/4 when i know different! I returned it the way it was given to me, a 1/4!!! Then asked me to come and look at it but the vehicle had been moved by staff/other multiple times which I witnessed when I rode by there..very unprofessional and overcharged me when I've been a valued customer since I was 19yrs old and I'm at age 38 now..unsatisfied!!

My only negative experience was that I couldn't get the vehicle I reserved or the location I had reserved it. It was very confusing as I didn't know that was possible. I had to drive way out of my way to pick up a larger version of my reserved truck. However, the folks at the pickup location were every helpful and accommodating. They allowed me to pick up my vehicle the night before my reserved time making the process much easier, and the larger truck didn't cost me any more. However, it was confusing and not as convenient as I had wanted.

LaDarious was great and helpful but he didn’t have enough help either time I was there. The computer system was slow, the rental calendar was all sorts of messed up, and there was always a line waiting to be helped. He did the best he could, but he needs help. I also had set up to pick up my equipment in Pelham but was notified last minute I would be picking up in Bessemer. When I asked if I could return the truck closer to where I was actually going with it, they wanted to charge me $500. So instead I paid for an extra 25 miles in order to return it to Bessemer. More communication would be excellent. Very disappointed every time I’ve used uhaul throughout this move (3 times). I have told many people about me issues throughout my move and I do not think or, nor my friends and family, will be using uhaul again unless absolutely necessary.

I would not recommend UHaul period to NO ONE! Your call representatives and the actual store clerks need to be on one accord! I made reservations online and the call center called me and tried to deter me from what I actually needed! Got to the store and they definitely didn’t have the one way I originally ordered online! Call center representative tried to give me a truck and hour away and also I would have to foot the bill for miles collected overall! They never answer at the locations! Poor poor poor NEVER AGAIN
