Not happy as I type this survey - I have emailed twice regarding a mystery 'cleaning fee' of $25 and still no response --- I purposely returned an hour or so later to sweep out the back (approx 9 p.m.) as I had forgot. to bring a broom. Then to receive a cleaning fee? at 8 a.m. the next morning? No way! - It's only $25, but come on? I do expect a response from someone justifying this action - certainly will contest this extra, non-approved charge with C.C. company if silence remains UHaul's customer approach on this matter. All else - top notch.

Disrespectful and rude i will never drop off to here again i will go out of my way to go to a different place for a drop off and they over charged my card for $20 more even though i dropped it off frist thing in the morning never again dropping off here and i will be submitting a review to my google locale guide page to let them know about this place as well i have been a google locale guide for many years so they get back with me very fast

The truck was VERY dirty. To the point of having to make my first stop a car wash and clean the windows so I could see. It was also out of windshield washer fluid and it smelled like smoke. The smoke smell was not apparent when I picked it up and it was zero degrees outside. If it was, I would have requested a different vehicle. Once it warmed up; the stench was horrible.

This location was perfect. Very friendly. My only complaint is on behalf of Uhaul the promised me a $50 credit for my inconvenience of thinking my truck would be at a different location and now they are giving me the run around. But this does not reflect anywhere on the Salzburg uhaul location .

Drop off location was very clean and friendly, even the owner came out and asked how our travels were and how the truck handled. Made returning the truck very easy and would definitely recommend True Value if your looking for a Uhaul.

Had problem with the ignition switch, wouldn't work . Finally worked, think it had something to do with the steering wheel lock.

it took two or three tries to get someone to come out and help me, more staff, better phone coverage, something would be great. They did come out and I didn't have to get out of my vehicle which is very helpful, as I have a walking disability. Thank you.

There were no rubber pieces on the chains to keep them secure, although it did not present a problem. Also the attendant forgot to check taillights once the wiring was connected. My fault as well.

Uhaul as a company (not the location where I rented the equipment) needs to figure out a better way to service customers that are requesting certain equipment (trailers, 26 foot trucks, etc). I had to call multiple times to see if the True Value location in Bay City MI would have a 26 foot truck. Unfortunately the answer was always no. Uhaul customer service said I would have to keep calling back. What ever happened to Uhaul calling me? That said, on the morning of the rental when I drove by True Value in Bay City I saw a 26 foot truck that came in the previous night. How come Uhaul does not have the technology to inform customers of this? Had I not drove by the location in Bay City I would have had to drive all the way to Saginaw which would have been wasted time and money. Uhaul needs to rethink the business model and use technology to better service your customers.

Inside cab of the truck was covered in dog hair, along with spilled pop in the cup holders and down the door. Employee cleaned the pop before leaving the lot.
