There were problems obtaining my reserved rental due to rental pick up location ability to connect with server, printer, and/or computer difficulties. To me, this is unacceptable customer service because it delayed my move by over an hour. The representative was frustrated about the whole process which was not his fault because he wanted me to have the truck upon arrival.

More informative voice mails would be nice. Especially when pickup locations change. Granted, you do this everyday but a vague voice mail stating we have you scheduled for a pick up at a location with just the name, no address, and no comment on the fact that this is not your requested location only add confusion to the process. Then the location isn't open to ask questions etc.... No, I'm not thrilled with this experience. Guess I'll go with Budget next time. They were cheaper anyway.

The owner called me complaining about where the 26' truck and auto transport trailer were dropped off. The lot to drop off equipment is only about 3-4x as big as the equipment I had to drop off. He also wanted to charge me for "damaged" furniture blankets asked if I wanted to come pay him in cash since he "didn't have my credit card information." I told him I would rather call U-Haul. I will not be doing business at this location again.

The owner didn't know what size ball the car carrier utilized I was told 1and 7/8 ball when in fact the trailer was a 2 inch ball The owner tighten the hitch or so I thought. The trailer rode all the way to St Francisville. When I drove the car onto the trailer it came loose, rare up and hit my tailgate. The trailer did substantial damage to my tailgate. Although the owner did this I didn't check for the ball size and to see if the hitch was tight. Guess it could have been worse.

The ladies at this location were helpful to an extent. I ordered a truck with 2 dollies and furniture blanks. This was 3 and 1/2 weeks prior. First, my location to get truck changed...no notification. Only the truck was at Oneal store, and I had to go store "hopping" to find the additional items. Very piss poor organization on a logistic company!!!! I work in logistics for the state and Uhaul is making a state agency look "efficient".

This is the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. The people who work here have no customer relation skills. They are rude. They are not helpful. They ignore the customer. When I brought the unit back, they would not even help me untie the trailer. Never go here to rent anything.

First, I was dropped of at my preferred location to find no truck available for my guaranteed reservation. No phone call was received either. I was told my reservation was then at O'Neil Self Storage. After paying for a taxi to bring me there, I entered with a "Hello" and was greeted with "What the hell kind of parking is that?!" He wasn't fond of how the taxi dropped me off by the front door. This man told me that my reservation was cancelled at noon...even though I didn't even make the reservation until 12:14pm. He seriously insulted me as I was reading the contract and threw his arms up like a five-year-old because I didn't sign it fast enough...then pretended that he "helped me out." Baton Rouge is notorious for terrible customer service, but I've never been treated like this in my life. This guy needs to retire already.
