My reservation was at 8:00am and when I go there, they weren't open and a vehicle wasn't available for me to pick up with the 24/7 pickup. I had to wait an hour for them to open to get my truck. Then when I returned it, the dolly I rented was in the back, and the truck was locked. Someone called me the next day to say that the dolly wasn't returned and they were charging me for it. She said that the truck was unlocked in the back. After much back and forth, I called again and she told me that she found a dolly sitting outside next to the truck and that "might" be the dolly I returned, so she refunded the amount charged. Obviously someone there must have already taken it out of the back because they unlocked the back of the truck. I still have not received the refund for that or for the rental guarantee that I was promised.

The employees were courteous, friendly and professional. When the truck was delivered to the door, the employee said to me, “ don’t pay any attention to the add oil light.” I certainly did not want the engine to seize while I was driving the truck. So we helped her add a quart of oil to the engine, and got into the truck. We realized was that the sign in the car said “change oil. “ there was nothing that was anybody’s fault. But clearly this young lady did not know a lot about oil, and the dashboard signals Regarding engine maintenance. She was very sweet though.

I arrived to the site at 8:48 to get the truck at 9. Only one person was able to check people in, the line was long, and it was after 9:15 when i finally was able to get checked in and get the truck. Also online it should indicate that there will be a hole on your credit card for the amount they estimate you using. I though I would pay what I used when I returned the truck. We only used this location because it was 2 blocks from where I moved.

Ms. Diamond was very professional, positive, and knowledgeable about U-Haul services. She made the process flow in a seamless manner. As an out of town user, the hauling experience was stressful enough, but I am glad to have used U-Haul.

Two workers, Brittany and Diamond, were SO helpful. Unfortunately, the call center had sent us to two locations that had ZERO experience with removing the auto transport trailer. Brittany and Diamond had never done it before, but they saw how frustrated we were after the last location, so they at least were willing to help us disconnect the trailer ourselves. I'm more frustrated that the call center didn't know the details of the places they sent us to. One of our SUV's tires was low, and Brittany noticed right away and filled it with air for us. Both of these workers deserve commendation, a reward, a bonus, etc., for not turning us away and being willing to try to help with something they weren't ever trained on.

Teara was amazing and so helpful. It was so early in the morning but she had such a great attitude and was hilarious. The staff member who checked in the uhaul was pleasant as well. I would recommend this uhaul location to my family and friends. Everything was so easy.

The van I was offered had a maintenance message, " Tire maintenance needed". Somehow at the last minute, the van was I was given was changed to the one I received and the van vas very unsteady! The "tire maintenance" message was constant. Prior to renting the van, I made sure the rep knew I had to drive about 100 miles from Baltimore to DC and back and I was still given a van with tire issues that drove unsteadily. At one point while merging onto the highway, the van seemed to have pulled too much to the left as if it was about to tilt. I felt very unsafe driving this van. When I returned the van and informed the rep that closed out the contract that the van is very unsteady, he said he knows that the van needs maintenance. This van should have never been offered to me or any other customer without passing the proper maintenance checks. I am very, very upset as another van had just been returned that looked new and I was not offered that van. I will not rent from this location again!

The employee at the uhaul location who helped me was amazing. She was super friendly and was the main positive with my experience this time. The uhaul itself was great as well. However, The location was very far from my preferred location due to the timing and difficulty to get to. I was also not able to pick up my uhaul at 7:30 as I had stated when booking at the “preferred” location since the new location closed assigned me a 6:30 pm pickup and I already had a previous obligation so I had to pick it up the next day at 7 am when this site opened. This affected my moving schedule and set me behind. I was very disappointed being moved to another site and specifically booked my original location since they said my requested uhaul was available there. I was not aware the location I booked online was a “preferred” location. This needs to be more clear. The preferred location takes 15 minutes to get to and from my home and the location I was given took me 45 minutes to get to an an hour to get back to my house. I would have NEVER chosen this location and am very upset to have been assigned this location. Your organization needs to understand distance between preferred and assigned locations is not the only contributing factor to ease of picking up a purchase. The assigned location was in the exact opposite direction from my home and destination where I was taking the uhaul. This location also requires me to drive through very heavy traffic that is at the same spots everyday, which you would not know alone based on distance. I also felt unsafe traveling to this destination, which you would also not know or understand based on just distance between the locations. Overall, I had a great experience with customer service when attaching the uhaul, but I will not be using uhaul again due to the headache of picking up and dropping off this uhaul and the assigned location. This is upsetting because I have previously had a good experience with your company, but would not like to endure this headache again.

Truck smelled of cigarette smoke but not too bad. The staff at this location were fantastic. Friendly, prompt, and professional.
