The U-Haul mobile rental process was repetitive and inconvenient, requiring the same information at reservation, pickup, and drop-off. The truck was also left with an empty tank, costing me an extra $25 in gas. The truck drove fine, and we got the job done, but next time I’ll rent from a U-Haul location with an in-person representative for a smoother experience.

Jean PThe staff at the counter was not helpful at all. He kept redirecting us to the app and said the rental had nothing to do with him. We tried to check in online, but the app didn't work, so we couldn't. After 30 minutes of waiting, we were checked in, but the key was nowhere to be found. We also couldn't "check out" or return the truck on the app or "check out" at the counter. We had to call the Uhaul customer service line. It should have been a seamless in-and-out process, but we wasted an hour trying to check in and out. Never again!
