Truck was not clear. Customer service was very poor.
Edward MThis was the absolute WORST experience. Not only was my pickup location changed two days prior to my scheduled move, at the 3rd party pickup location the staff was very rude. The dolly and queen size bed cover I ordered was not with the truck. I had to miss work, then go back to the 3rd party location to pick up the dolly bc the staff initially said they didn’t have it. This added miles: then I had to drive to a main office to pick up the mattress cover as instructed by “Homer”…when I arrived to this location the staff informed me that I needed to cancel the order to pick up the mattress cover from them. I spoke with Homer a 3rd time and he placed me on hold while he so called helped but not only did he, a manager, not return to the call, he didn’t call me back after the call was somehow disconnected. This derailed my moving plan and caused me to receive a penalty at work for having to leave unexpectedly to pick up the slack of U-Haul. Not to mention this is in Atlanta where the traffic is horrendous on any day. The communication and processes needs MAJOR attention. The customer experience is lacking to say the least. I will do any and everything to NEVER book with U-Haul again. Please work on this bc nobody should have to go through this much especially when moving is already stressful.
