The vehicle was dirty. It had no USB port or cord to charge my phone. I was charged the wrong rates and was told I had to call myself to fix that... perhaps that is policy and I am fine with that if so. I have corporate account . We love U haul though overall.

There was pre-existing damage to the truck which I forgot to note initially, because I had already lost an hour in the store trying to locate a friend/relative who could take a call on the spot on Saturday morning. The two people I dealt with have zero sense of customer service. Not only will not recommend this location, I will encourage people to avoid it all costs. I'm sure they generate a lot of additional revenue this way.

Reserved 15' Truck and Car Hauler Friday early morning Friday 9/27/19 with a quote of $489 & $79 for a one way move to Cody/82414..Pickup date 10/1/19 12:00Pm.. I called U-Haul reservations again Monday after realizing that i would need another day to return truck, do to unloading logistics in Cody.."No problem" i was told. When I arrived @ Pick up location Rental was going to be over $1100..I was horrified! What a devastating blow after packing a house I have lived for 33 years.. I was mortified. Now here i am dealing with a counter person who acted as though he could care less and.. why am i here dealing with this".. After many explanations of my previous reservation estimates he reduced total a little, but i still ended initial transaction being twice the amount i was quoted and had budgeted for.. I was taken through the truck checked out..He Just handed me the keys and was told "Truck is out back up the hill"..Me being Physically Challenged and exhausted wondered why i called U-Haul? Why am i being treated like this..Is U-Haul really this Bad.. Next day I picked up car hauler..It was a better experience. Counter person way more helpful but was told of the loading and unloading charge after signing contract as we are approaching equipment. Drop-Off Location Personnel were Great! I would do business with them any day! I am a man who is a strong believer in Brand loyalty and Treating People how i would like to be treated.. Thank Goodness for Scott (U-Haul maintenance Super visor & my neighbor in Arvada Co. who caught several issues with the truck before i left as well as fix a dangerous visor issue that would have impaired driving on a 490 mile trip through questionable weather. I need an explanation of why quote was so different than what I ended up paying.. I will warn everyone I know of this discrepancy and feeling of "Bait & Switch" with the reservation and the actual lack of professionalism encountered at initial check in & the lack of Truck run-through/check out and equipment flaws..

Allow off-hours drop off. It adds extra miles and inconvenience for me to return the next morning to hand the keys to someone who could have just as easily pulled them from a lock box. This is a terrible policy that will weigh heavily the next time I rent a truck.

The equipment was great, the men who helped put trailer in the rental truck were very helpful. My complaint, is the set price on the rental truck when we returned the truck and trailer the next afternoon. I feel the amount paid was overpriced.

Give the employees a better computer system. They obviously are struggling with an inferior computer checkout process, but doing the best they can, apparently. Very courteous considering the challenges they are faced with. Checkout lines tend to get long.

I rented a van and paid for the added insurance. When I picked the van up, the general manager didn't even do a walk through with me...he just handed me the keys. When I returned the van, they did a walk through and the roof of the van was scratched. I never went into a parking garage or under trees but was charge. I was charged more than the $150 deductible coverage that I paid. I'm very upset as I had to pay for damage that I didn't incur.
