1. We were not told this was a rideshare location nor given instructions for how that worked. 2. The lot was a very poor gritty industrial location hardly to be mistaken for renting uhaul trucks. It had a fabric banner and a truck and a lockbox but without knowing this was an unmanned transaction and i would a video instruction link it lost us time and money and my opinion of uhaul went from 5 stars to 1 instantly. 3. We had to call the uhaul customer service number to verbalize how lost we were before it occurred to someone to send us a video which finally happened. 4. because of the setup, i had no options for renting a dolly, getting rope or renting moving blankets. such a major hassle due unfolded. now that i know this is how uhaul might work depending on where i am i will need to be more careful and look for better options before making a decision. 5. it is hands down a better option to rent from a facility with a person and with supplies. 6. if i had known ahead of time it was a rideshare and would be unmanned and given the video link ahead of time and informed there will be no supplies at the location my rating would changed. 7. the truck was clean however the engine smelled off and ran rough. that said, it ran and we were able to perform the task even though we lost an hour. 8. my last uhaul experience a week or so before was excellent. we had a lady handle the process and she had supplies and they extended our rental period when we asked.
