Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulThis was a self service drop off. I guess it's okay. My first time using a self serve. Literally zero signage providing any information or procedure. It was not necessarily inviting, but at least orderly. There were zero personnel there, so they couldn't be helpful.

norman aI had requested a 10ft truck but all they have was a 15ft. So of course, I took it, but I'm a single mother on a budget. So that knocked my pockets a little further back. When I arrived already on a tight schedule from travel and work, and having to return to Denver for another shift by 4 the gas tank only had 33 miles to empty. The inside smelled like cigarette smoke. And there was a hair clip on the driver's visor that was left from before. They told me they had to go pick up the truck as the person left it with their friend. I didn't know I had to take pictures on the app and do all of that extra as no one told me. I found out as I was outside on my own. So that put me even further back to leave on time. Normally when I rent vehicles, the employees come outside and do a walkthrough with you. And with three of them, a baby and a dog, I figured somebody could have helped me. The ramp of the truck was covered in mud and rocks which I then brought into my home and now have to clean up more. But being already on a tight schedule, it was very inconvenient having to fill up before I even left Alamosa. The check in process was simple. I was in and out pretty quick. I put over $90 in the gas tank. And even though I was only left with 33 miles until empty I left them with 38. And I was still charged extra for gas. So that was pretty crazy. Because it says return the tank with as much gas as you got it with. And I gave them 5 gallons more, and was still charged 45 extra dollars. I also did not even have my rental for a full twenty four hours, and they were already sending me text messages, saying that there were other families waiting for trucks in my area. Respectfully, they can wait until my reservation is over. As I am paying customer, just like they are. So being already on an extremely tight schedule and then feeling rushed. I didn't really care for. So yes, the check in process and the drop off process were very simple, but the overall experience was not pleasant. And I will definitely plan things better so I do not have to do that again in the future.
