I had two storage units in this U-Haul facility one I had since 2021 when I first moved to Decatur my husband passed away and I end up with another storage unit within five days. U-Haul went in and threw all my stuff away. They said they made a mistake and thought I was a previous occupant never got justice for it. Never heard from anybody and this happened in April 2024 terrible experience never compensated for it and when they threw my stuff out someone, I’m sure a U-Haul employee fraudulently open accounts in my name April 2024 on the eighth. They threw my stuff out April 2024 on the 12th. Somebody fraudulently open accounts never compensated never heard from anybody so no I would never recommend this U-Haul Company.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulIt was easy and convenient to use and helped our family thru a challenging situation.
TIMOTHY W | Experiencia generalThe guys were very friendly and helpful. 5 stars for them!!!
Diana S | Primeras impresionesI had no problem. The staff was very helpful.
Linda P | Experiencia generalThere was always a problem with payment of my unit. Wait time was always 20+ minutes, even when I am the only one there. The professionalism of the location was way below average. I will not do business with Uhaul again.
Stephanie A | Experiencia generalGreat staff. Good hours of operation. Would definitely recommend this facility to someone else.
crystal s | Experiencia generalMy only complaint is that there was rarely a flatbed cart available to use.
Harold A | Experiencia generalThe alarm code for my unit never worked in the year I had storage, and no one would come back and look at it, ever, so the alarm would go off when my storage door was open. They didn't care if alarms went off, ever, so if someone WAS actually in there robbing my unit, the staff there didn't care. The side door was NEVER locked or required a code (even though a pinpad was there), so literally anyone off the street could walk in there and then walk through the sliding doors, because even though there was a pin pad there as well, it wasn't required to open the sliding doors. There are 3 car bay doors and 3 van/truck bay doors and you never knew which were working; you had to literally go in there and press every doors' Open button to see what was working that day. On my move out date, 2 car and only 1 van/truck bay door opened. Again, staff walked through and confirmed they don't work and, yet again, they didn't care. There are never enough flat bed carts there. In the parking garage, someone had put personal furniture there and no one on the staff would come move it. Who knows how long it was there, but we were there for 4 hours and no one came for it, customer or staff. The same thing happened when I used your services in another state, you provide a great move-in rate, with no mention of it being temporary mind you, so you raise the rates whenever you want. Not knowing how long I would be there, I didn't want to pay a full year in advance.
Kimberly P | Experiencia generalIt was convenient and I felt as if all my items were safe
Myrjell W | Experiencia generalStill no lock ready
Blake G | Mudanza en líneaThey do not respect you and the manger is awful
Michelle B | Experiencia generalNot welcoming, no friendly greeting, pour communication.
Julio R | Experiencia generalWould recommend to anyone who asks. Great friendly place
THOMAS P | Experiencia generalIm not moving out been in jail and I just got out. So if you guys can work with me I can do payments until the balance is back to being in the positive
