When C.O.A. Logistics arrived to unload, one mover was urinating in the street while on the phone with me. I overlooked it. That was a mistake. They demanded an additional $100 via Venmo for my porch steps and another $250 for the second floor. I declined the latter and requested everything stay downstairs. They continued pressuring me. Within 30 minutes of our two-hour booking, they complained about heavy items and demanded even more money. One repeatedly said, ‘Well this should be a nice tip then,’ becoming increasingly agitated. They argued and cursed outside, leaving my sidewalk covered in spit. I instructed them to leave anything they felt inadequately paid to move in the truck and finish what they could for our agreed payment. They ignored me. Alone with two increasingly hostile men, I felt unsafe and repeatedly told them to leave. They refused until I paid $100 and provided the payment code. I complied to get them off my property.
