  • The two movers from New Life were polite and responsive, but just weren't strong enough to heft some of my heavier bedroom dressers up the stairs without hitting the walls and damaging some very expensive pieces of furniture. They also didn't follow instructions about which boxes and pieces of furniture belonged where, ending up with a large number of items in the wrong rooms. I will also have to repair damage to the walls. And they were slow. The movers I hired to pack my moving truck at my old house did it in two hours, but New Life took nearly four hours to unload, leading to significant additional expense. I had to tip them and extra $100 just to get them to finish taking the last boxes and items up the stairs, with some of the boxes ending up crushed and in the wrong rooms. They worked hard and I think they meant well, but will not be hiring them again.

Hi Michael, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the experience. This booking was for labor only unloading through Moving Help. Furniture padding and wrapping must be completed before unloading, and our crew worked with the items in the condition they were provided. We do take your concerns about item placement and timing seriously and will use your feedback to improve communication and service going forward. We appreciate the opportunity to assist with your move.
