The GMC van had used about double what my own van used in fuel for the same trip. As a customer who is looking for an alternative to using my own vehicle it just wasn't worth $100 for 100 miles at the end of the day.

this is just a comment to uhaul ,not particular location .. When I reserved , I needed truck , Waterford, CT to Ashby,MA ....since you do not have locations there , I understand you look for the closest . But then you give 120 miles , but with picking up truck and dropping it off not where I am , please be more available to give miles up front . I had to wait 30 mins on hold , to talk with someone , and then miles were added no charge .Maybe if your online site , when someone asks , truck from point A to B , add those miles , plus 25 just in case ya make a wrong turn , need to stop to use the can , or GPS gets ya lost ... just saying ;-)

I had a terrible experience with Uhaul.com...not much to do with the particular location. I reserved a 26’ truck and received a confirmation email. When I arrived, I was told my reservation had been switched to a van. I was very upset.

Improve reservation system. No reason not to be 100 percent aware of where every trailer is currently. Being allowed to reserve something in a location that isn’t there is very frustrating. Regardless of your policies.

Prior to picking up my truck, someone called me to confirm the pickup time/location. I had requested a Uhaul from the Worcester location, however the guy on the phone told me that all he had available was a truck from the Leominster location, which is about 40 minutes away. Nowhere in the reservation process was I informed that I may have to drive to another location to pick up the truck, so I didn't even know this was a possibility. Picking up the truck ended up taking 2 hours instead of 30 minutes, which would have been fine if I had been given a heads up this may happen. Additionally, the guy on the phone was rude and not apologetic at all. Had he been a little bit more apologetic for the huge inconvenience, it would have gone a long way. Instead, he basically told me to take it or leave it, and then hung up on me at the end. He was extremely rude and shouldn't be involved in customer service if he doesn't know how to treat people. Everything else about the Uhail rental experience was very pleasant, so it's extremely unfortunate that one person basically ruined my impression of Uhaul as a whole, and will make me more reluctant to use it again in the future.

I had to rent a larger truck than I actually wanted which increased the cost quite a bit. (Not on the rent but certainly the mileage per gallon were considerably worse and it was .20 per mile.more expensive than the truck I wanted so that was a little annoying...BUT you did have a truck for me for 3 days even though I called on Thursday for Friday po kup so tou get lots of points for that. I do wish the person who. Leans the tru kn would fo a little easier on the air freshener .. it was not a card I could put in a bag to cut the stench of it...it was. some spray or oil and it was disgusting.. so strong it made me cough and my throat close up with every breath. It did not lighten much over the weekend either even though I left the windows open hoping it would go away a bit. If I a tually had asthma or something it probably would have triggered an attack. I don't.. so no one had to call t jn e ambulance but it aggravated me and made me uncomfortable and pissed off

Ever Was great except that you called me the day before and told me my truck was 31 miles out of the wAy. This added over an hour to our day. The reason I called ahead is to have this information so that I can plan ahead of time. If you told me this with more time rearranging plans wouldn't be hard, days notice with multiple factors involved makes it harder. I called uhaul and they could not do anything which I figured but were rude, unapologetic and unhelpful. I know I have to use you again but you are more of a necessary evil now and that's what I would tell people of my experience. You know people have to use your trucks so you don't care how you treat them.

The young man at the desk was very knowlegable and the transaction was quick~3 minutes. Dropping off I was approached by an employee stopped my in the parking lot and took the key so I didn't even have to enter the building. Great customer service!

NEVER sign inthrough the National call center. Talk to one of the folks on the ground. The call c enter is a runaround and they always mess up. This location is the best. Effective ad well run... WHEN the call center does not screw things up -- and they always do!!
