Make fully aware of all charges and an estimated total before the customer leaves with the vehicle. I was not aware of the fuel needed to be replaced. I also thought .69 cents a mile is way too high on top of the $19.99 and other charges. I was not happy with the final cost.

Would be nice if there was more honesty in advertising. There are signs that imply that rental is $29 or $39, but that's just a small part of the total cost, and doesn't include the cost per mile. So, even though the price says $29 to rent, in reality the whole thing can cost $100 or more depending on how far you travel. Then there is the fuel replacement expense which is also not included. So, what is the $29 actually for?? With so very little competition, I don't think U-Haul needs to mislead with its advertising.

Charging to much per mile. The $19.95per day local immediately turns into twice the amount when doing over 25 miles. Under 30 miles no extra charge would increase your business over your competitors.

Worst experience ever im gettin charge $400 from a $66.88 car trailer. they charge me $133 on oct 2 2018 then they charge me $200 again oct 4 2018 and now they chargin me $66.88 again i want my $333 back. but they say the refundin me back 200.65



He has been several days now, Sense I spoke to corporate, suppose to receive a call from the branch manager that has not happened. Dropping off the vehicle ask to speak to the manager the staff was unhelpful manager was not around vehicle had some kind of oil because of it made it inconvenient for me to pick up the furniture, Had to look for another vehicle to avoid the stain to my new furnitures from the oil on the back of the truck.

More employees at location . My reservation was to pu up at a location other than this , had no return. All but confirmed confirmation? I call early morning , man proceeds to tell me he had nothing in his system . Tried to make new reservation nothing in the area even after going to 4 other U-Haul stores had no help ! Clearly your online reservation system is horrible since I was not the only one in line with an issue . Fortunately I could rent the only available item and it worked with some adjusting to my plans .

I reserved a 4 X 7 trailer. Actual size was 3 X 7.5 ??? This misrepresentation of your product cost me extra round trips. Some of my goods would not fit in trailer, so l had to make other arrangements. Very unhappy! Do not appreciate the misleading data on your web site. Don’t think there will be a next time!

Sales associate told me Uhaul is not responsible to ensure gas is in vehicle when rented! You’re kidding me right now! there is gas. Blamed it on previous customer who returned van with 1/4 tank of gas. So... am I to understand, if previous customers rent a vehicle, do not return the vehicle with the same amount of gas when rented, Uhaul charges that customer for gas, yet U-Haul will not fill the tank with gas fees charged to the non-compliant customer? And will rent the vehicle to the next customer, being me, and the only excuse is “ it’s not our fault”. “We’re not responsible to ensure there is sufficient gas for the next customer to rent”. I was angry...had to wait 20minutes, as the “computers were done all day”, and the sales rep snapped at “me” when I expressed dissatisfaction. REALLY!

There was an open container or alcohol left in the vehicle. Then when i drop off the vehicle I was told I was all set and they would email me the receipt and when I get the receipt I was charged for fuel when the vehicle had more fuel when I returned it than when I picked it up. When I ask about this charge nobody seems to be able to respond.

I have no complaints about the Leominster store but my pickup was supposed to be in Gardner and they would not work with me on the mileage which added another $40 to my rental rate. Also when I called the customer service to get the $50 guarantee for truck not being in gardner they would not work with me because they left me a voice mail which I never got and we were corresponding through emails. Not happy with customer service. There are two locations in Gardner I could have rented from the other location and there was a truck available there.
