Robert EI reserved our rental at a different pick-up location a few weeks in advance for a 7 am pick-up. The day before our cross-country move, we were notified we would need to pick up at a different location. The earliest pick up time was 8 am which delayed our departure time. Upon arrival it was difficult to find the entry to the office. Once located, the entrance to the office was over grown with weeds/grass, there was no walkway, and the door was locked with no notification on how to gain access. I walked to another business that was attached (through the overgrown weeds/grass) and located the Uhaul representative. He was a mechanic with a trucking company who had been working on a semi. The Uhaul office was FILTHY. Grease, dirt, and the few packing supplies that were available were covered in what appeared to be years of accumulated dust. The representative, while very nice, didn't know how to add my husband as an authorized driver and had to call for assistance, then was unable to reprint the contract showing my husband listed as an authorized driver. I'm not sure what the legalities would've been if we had an accident while he was driving, .The only trailer available at this location had a double chain which kept coming unwound during our drive and had to first be zip-tied and then later duct-taped to keep it from dragging the ground and creating sparks...not ideal when driving through the dry conditions in Colorado. The pick-up should have taken no more than 30 minutes...we were there for more than an hour...he was using his phone instead of a computer/laptop to enter info and print the contract. That defibitely slowed down the process.
Jill HFast, easy and could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would use again without hesitation. Helped me start off what was going to be a busy and stressful day on a great note note.
