I made a reservation and provided a deposit at Bills Service Center on 27 Rte 46 E in Hackettstown, NJ 07840. However, when I arrived, the representative there stated I was not present at 8 A.M. Therefore, the representative rented my reserved U-Haul truck to another customer. As a result, my only 2 choices were to leave or rent a larger truck that costs a lot more. I did rent the larger truck. However, the cabin and windows were not wiped clean. I had to ride with the windows open to see better. The seats and steering wheel had a dirty residue on it. The truck did not ride like a van. It felt like driving in a crude truck with a failing suspension. We felt every road imperfection as it rattled and vibrated through the seats. The steering alignment felt off, and the brakes did not immediately engage.
