Rented a 15 fr truck and car trailer. Went to get it last Saturday. I had never used a car hacker before. No assistance was offered. I hooked the trailer up then drove my car up on the trailer. I opened my door to get out but the side fender was up. No one was around so I had to open my window all the way and come out feet first. Im 6'1" and 240 lbs. I got out and went inside. The guy said he thot had experience with trailers. Thing is he didn't ask when I was getting it. I didn't realize tge fender cane down so car door coukd open. Well this trailer, forcwstevercreason had a bokt and nut on each end and nit the rubber handle. He had no tools. I just left without the trailer, loaded my storage and came back. He assigned me another trailer that worked properly and "downed" the other one to be fixed. Also, the battery was weak and it tagged when starting but I had already loaded my stuff and wasn't going to transfer to another truck. Well, I pulled in for gas northbound Nacogdoxhes and neantvto leave engine running but didn't. The truck wouldn't start I had to get a guy going in the store to jump me. When u turnedvthectruck andctrsler in I made sure the place knew of the issue. The guy where i picked up the equipment was a part timer who worked on wknds. I could tell. He had other customers there too but seemed like he didn't wanna help. Hecssidvtge service guyvthey had justcrecentlybpassed away and they had nobody to help with mechanical issues. I told him sirrybfirvthatvbutvtheu are a national company and should have already hired a bew guy. I hated to vent to him but he represents Uhaul. If u use Uhaul again, il make sure everything works properly first.
