Cynthia CThe store clerk showed up way too late. This was supposed to be a self-service rental, and they never entered the proper info into the UHaul system so I was unable to get the truck until he showed up an hour late. He then proceeded to argue with the VERY wonderful UHaul rep that called me. Then started arguing with me. And when I walked away, he was then rude to my wife. I would give just 0 stars if I could.
Brad CAJ's is an excellent UHaul location. Very friendly service and he explains everything very well. He also has plenty of bagged ice and beverages available for your moving crew! I will use AJ's in the future and highly recommend others do as well!
WILLIAM LThe pickup location was perfect for us, as it was only a couple of minutes from our home. Unfortunately, the condition of the truck was very disappointing. The box of the truck had not been cleaned and contained grass, broken glass, metal fasteners, and even a broken piece of furniture that had been left behind. Before we could begin loading, my wife and I had to clean out the truck ourselves. There was also an odor coming from the door strap. The cab was not much better. Something had been spilled in the map/storage bin and was dripping down onto the floor mat. I had to repeatedly wipe it up throughout our drive to Virginia because it continued to leak. Overall, I was very disappointed with the condition in which the truck was provided to us. What should have been a straightforward pickup resulted in additional, unplanned work for both my wife and me before we could even begin our trip.
