The lady at the front desk was short and rude. The uhaul had a broken side mirror which kept moving making it impossible to see behind me. The swivel bolt at the bottom of the mirror was loose. The first reservation I booked never went through. I went to a different location and they told me they could see my booking but had no trucks available. 1 hour wasted and I had to book the following day.

arcidies sBeing new to U-Haul made it hard at first. The system is kind of slow and you need to constantly login to make whatever you are doing. On the other side, the overall process works, and the truck I had meets expectations. Return was super simple if compared to the Self-Pick-Up.

JUVENAL LThis truck was the dirties piece of junk I have EVER rented….parts were missing on it on the inside. The shocks were horrible. I hit the ceiling every time I hit a pot hole! When I returned it the woman told. E that they had requested that particular truck be removed from their fleet but the owner never did it! That was almost enough for me to call it quits and never rent from UHaul again!!!

Douglas GI dropped off the rental after hours, but the store clerk was helpful in telling me where to park the truck and where the key drop nix was at.

Sierra WTexts and emails are okay but when you change locations and then still do not have the requested size truck, phone calls are necessary to make sure things are okay. The drop off point in Houston was an actual U-Haul dealership with efficient, knowledgeable employees.

bryan lI originally scheduled the pickup for another location at 8:30 am using my phone. The day before I was notified that I would need to pickup the truck at this location, which isn't a problem. However- 1) The new location did not have either of the dolly's I ordered/needed. 2) I was unable to use my phone to pickup the truck(not sure if it was because of the location change, or user error), and when I tried to ask for help the employees told I had to wait until they officially opened at 9. It's not their fault, I understand their perspective. But if the mobile pickup issue was because of the location change, please get this fixed.
Benjamin WThe truck was the dirtiest I have seen. Drivers seat had ashes from smoking and empty beer bottles. The back cargo had shattered glass pieces in it. Check engine light and battery light was on.

Luke RAlthough I do not plan on using U-Haul as a service in the future, I would suggest, first, fixing the app, particularly since every U-Haul representative told me to use the app. The degree of lag that was experienced was substantial and inconvenient to accomplish any relevant task.
John None thing that was scary for me was the truck that they gave me to drive must have had a slow leak or something. Kept coming up on the dashboard that the LEFT RR TIRE NEEDS AIR IN IT. So each time I stopped for gas, I also had to put air in the tires on the left because i wasnt truly sure which one they were talking about,because it wasnt truly flat on the ground. just put the air in out of fear of tire really messing up on me as i drove for 13 hrs. other that than everything was good. Just please make sure all vehicles are fully serviced and is in good condition. Scary thing for a female traveling alone for the 1st time. But I thank you that the AC was running top notch to give me a comfortable right in that 100 degree weather out there.
Stacy MCustomer service was absolutely horrible. First, I had made a reservation on line and a service manager had called me the day after to confirm my reservation, location….., when I got to the assigned location, they did not have the trailer I reserved. The gentleman at the counter was NOT helpful and rude. After 1 hour of waiting for a trailer to arrive, they sent me to another location where I finally got the trailer. When I returned it, they were so rude again because I had not parked the trailer at the right place!! Instead of asking me politely to move it to the other side!!!

JOSE VMy first and last Uhual experience has been a complete nightmare. The location i reserved the trailer at wasnot available at my appointment time and made me wait an hour. Then the trailer I rented was not upset so the tire blew out less than a third into my journey. I was lucky to not be injured or killed as my car spun around and landed on a guard rail being completely totaled. The trailer itself was flipped over and my property damaged. I was stuck then in a tiny town for 3 days while uhual went back and forth. I had to pay for hotels, ubers, plane tickets and so forth and was delayed in my travels. In addition to my car being totaled and my property damaged. Despite the fact that I had purchased hauls safeguard, the only compensation they have given me after over 50 phone calls and emails is $100. And I am out $25,000 between my car and property. Uhual is refusing any to do anything to help me and I highly recommend steering clear of using them.

Ron SThere was supposedly a "mishap" with my order and I was charged twice for a tow dolly, after already telling Debra that I paid for it and received it. She said she wouldn't charge me again and would figure out the issue, only to have them charged me for it without my consent. Then I was charged $59.40 at the return of my rental for things I once again either paid for and received or didn't pay for. I was charged for the truck and Smart Move. Which I did not consent to. They mixed up my order with someone's else and all of these miscellaneous charges were coming out of my account. Never again will I use UHaul. And I'd like a reimbursement for the $59.40 that I was unknowingly charged for, even after leaving a description of why I do not understand or accept these charges.

HEATHER GMake sure your employee is accounted for when customers arrive for there rental and they are able to be serviced in a timely manner make sure vehicle is clean and gassed up properly
Chelsea WInitial pick-up location was on Navigation. When I arrived there, the office was closed and I did not see the 10 by 10 truck that I had requested. The Shell location was much more convenient and would have saved me two hours of drive time. Otherwise I am pleased with service provided. Representative was very friendly and helpful.

xavier mWaited close to two hours upon receiving my requested trailer due to a U-Haul box truck(keys missing) blocking the lane. Trailer had a nail in the tire but held up on the return trip
August LI think providing a lock for the back would be a good idea. One that just stays with the truck. Make it more comfortable becuz I didn't have one or have any time to get one and would have felt better if there had been a lock that I didn't need to go purchase. Elsewhere.

rozi tI had the worst experience with the dolly, the 1st dolly straps were broken, I didn't notice until the morning (4am) I planned on leaving town. So I had to wait until 7am for the Uhaul location to open, which pushed my move back 3hrs. The replacement dolly had issues 2hrs on the highway.
ALEXIS LThe location was a little hard to get to because of the freeway traffic. The attendant was super friendly and knowledgeable of how to connect the trailer. The experience of renting a trailer from U-Haul was a positive one.
JUANITA CTruck was dirty cabin and the back used or spit sunflower seeds in floor board of cabin smelled like smoke . Back had leaves and sunflower seeds. Terrible Experience!! Improvement Needed Clean the cabin dirt is one thing chewed up sunflower seeds ?? Maybe someone who gives a dam about the job . Girl at the counter was half a asleep and did no walk around of the truck . Maybe change air filter in the truck so it doesn't smell like cigarettes

Marque JI have not rented a U-Haul truck in years... I placed order for rental from Commuity Storage, but they were not able to have one on location of day of pick-up. Anyway Studemonth pick-up location was not too far away. Convenient being at gas station to fill up truck.

Mitchell GI was supposed to pick my truck at at 9:30, we didn't leave the lot until 10:00 because there was only one person working who could not care less about making 5 seperate customers wait. The truck had 187,000 miles on it and was barely driveable on the highway with the amount of play in the wheel and how easily it follows grooves in the road. Truck id is DC1698 D, license plate Arizona , AL85978. This truck should not be in your rental program and needs serious maintenance before someone gets killed. Will not rent from U-Haul again.
