The connection between the wiring on the trailer and my hitch was bad. It was old and beat up. U-Haul should have checked ahead to insure that it worked when I picked up the trailertom F.

I pulled up the nice lady came out to greet me. She showed me where to park it, she guided me back into the parking spot. When I went to jack the trailer up off my truck she was already doing it. I asked her if she wanted me to finish that and she politely said no thanks I got it. She asked me if everything worked properly, then told me have a great day.Shawn C.

So I attempted to pay online to spend less time at the counter but it never processed and had to check in at the counter. My DL is on file, but the app wouldn't verify my headshot either so waited at the counter. Turns out the employee had all my info ha. While verifying my info a call came in, so midstream had to awkwardly wait with another waiting customer while the call was taken from the U-Haul regional who was verifying equipment at the location. No big deal, but do think it could have been a bit more seamless. Regarding the truck. I used alcohol wipes to clean it and the only dirty thing would be down in the cup holders, so I get it. The photos that were displayed were from a distance in some other states with mountains, so I took additional photos of large scrapes down the side as I didn't feel the photos really showed the actual damage. I had an awful experience at the LA location. They were rude and unhelpful when we really needed assistance. Then, 3/4 of the way through our drive the car broke down. And the roadside assistance took 3+ hours to help us, while we were stranded on the side of the road. Worst first experience with U-Haul, I will not be using you again.SHELBY P.

Joyce was FANTASTIC. Made my check-in process super smooth and she was a delight to be around. Separate from that, the equipment in the parking lot was parked WAY too tightly. It was difficult to get my U-Haul out of the parking lot. I'd recommend finding an alternative storing situation for equipment awaiting rental, or expanding the lot if possible.Ravi L.
The scheduled trailer had a tail-light out, but the service reps switched it out efficiently so we could be on our way. They knew how to hook up the trailer, etc and so it went quickly.MELISSA H.
