  • Shayne Gibson is very unprofessional and too emotional to be managing a team. I booked their services to help my brother and father as I would be out of the country during the move. A time change was requested due to U-HAUL not having a truck ready at pickup. The movers agreed and met at the new time. During the off loading of appliances, the movers scratched a fridge and owned up to the mistake. Per the ‘Moving Help Payment Code’ - You don't release the Payment Code until after your job is completed, and you're 100 percent satisfied with your provider's services. Therefore, if your helper accidentally breaks something, you don't want to release your Payment Code until you and your Moving Helper come to an agreement..on how you'll be reimbursed for the damages. Which is what my brother followed and Shayne became confrontational and threatening, telling his movers not to leave until they got the code and proceeded to charge us an extra hour before sending a false preliminary claim.

  • They never showed up - an Independent loader was called in and had to do the project by himself and it took $180 more 2 hours to do the job completely. I would have understood this situation if I booked help last week but I ordered and paid for it in May!! I would love to be refunded $180 with two people it would have been done on time. - no extra money

  • The movers didn’t seem to communicate with each other. Items that I specifically asked not to be packed were packed. I asked 3 separate times for my washer & dryer to be wrapped in moving blankets & I was assured they would be each time. I watched them unload, & they were not wrapped, so now they’re scuffed up. The doorframes are damaged & the front door is now hitting into the frame when you close it. This was a move out from a rental, so we have to rush to repair this. We suspect our washer could be damaged because the moving bolts weren’t used as the original bolts were packed & when we found the extras, they ignored them. I was charged an extra $105 for the move going 45mins over time, which I would have no issue with, except one of the 3 man crew I hired left for 1.5-2 hours to pick up his kid. So I paid for the full time for the 3 movers even though 1 was gone for 1.5-2 hours. Then I paid more for the extra 45mins needed to compensate for him being gone. Does that seem fair?

  • Mike did a great job. He worked hard and was very friendly and held good communication throughout hisntime being here. The reasoning for the low rating- while brining down my washer and dryer, mike, Shayne, and Nasir, caused large amounts of damaging to my walls. I was told Shayne the owner would fix the damages. After texting him directly he said he would come out to look at my walls the next day. He has yet to respond or try to reach out. Im very disappointed as we are trying to sell our home. These damages will be a massive set back. Green paint was spilt on my white stairs, and I found personal items scattered inside and outside. I found belongings that should have been loaded in the moving boxes and will now have to figure out how to load them myself. 10 starts for Mike individually. 0 for the company. Very upset and disappointed.

  • They are strong guys but boundary management for me as a woman was a bit hard, the weather was hot and he wanted ice I gave him some but he came around my kitchen to wash his hands in an entitled manner and then put his drink in the freezer without asking for permission. I don't believe this is the right way to handle people. He yelled and screamed at me a couple of times which I let go and we talked it out but I have worked with more professional movers in the past. They are strong physically and mentally need to be coached. They also made friends with neighbors who have history of harassment and when I requested to keep it to themselves they caused more harm we talked it out but overall it had a lot of stress.

  • This company was a big disappointment. I hired 2 movers for 2 hours, but only one showed up. The mover kept telling me the other person was late but on the way. About half-way through, he said the other helper wasn't coming, and if I wanted it loaded, I would need to help load. I went ahead and loaded because we needed to get the job done. I was expecting a half reduction in the price because I only got half the labor. The loader insisted on the uhaul payment code, and I was charged full price. Moving Help said they couldn't do anything about it and told me I needed to follow-up with the provider directly. I called the owner of Two More Hands, and he said he subcontracted the job so he couldn't give me a refund for the other half. After arguing, he agreed to give me a token $25 thru Zelle. I sent the request for payment, but it has been ignored for 3 weeks. Very disappointed - Two More Hands did not stand behind their service and never made it right. Buyer beware!

  • Do NOT hire! This is a shady contractor operation not a REAL moving company. I paid for three movers for four hours but only two showed up. When I called the contact Shane to check on the third mover, he was very disrespectful he started stuttering & yelling at me that the mover had a flat tire and threatened to cancel a job when I asked for a courtesy call. Worse the whole conversation was on speaker & one of the movers Cowboy revealed he was hired off CRAIGSLIST by Shane & didn't know him & had never worked for him! A replacement for the third mover finally arrived over two hours later. By then Cowboy & Ms. H had already heavy lifted & neatly loaded most of my three bedroom home. This company caused a lot of stress & was a total nightmare experience! Cowboy & Ms. H didn't like how Shane handled the situation and told me not to worry they would get the job done! They are the TRUE HEROS in this horrible experience!! Avoid this company at all costs!

  • I am sad to be writing this negative review. Our items were not packed up appropriately by two more hands moving. They did not secure anything so all our items shifted in transit. Our TVs were thrown in their boxes on top of everything else. Both 60 in TVs are shattered. Among our other items getting damaged. Our movers on the other end could not believe how poorly everything had been packed and said it did not look like professionals did this. They could barely get the back of the uhaul open. They couldnt believe all the extra packing materials we had that none were utilized and our TVs were not secured at all. The crew was very friendly and worked hard so we tipped them well. I never intended to write this review but feel like I have to. I reached out directly to the company two weeks ago to try and solve this between us and no response.

  • Shayne was very communicative and showed up early. While there was a misunderstanding between our two separate bookings that resulted in only 1 worker for the 2 hours instead of 2 workers for 2 hours, he still performed above my expectations! (In their defense I booked two separate jobs for different days at the same address right after the other). Thankfully today was for my small trailer and we confirmed the order for Friday and he guaranteed he’ll have everyone present for the big part of the move. I have no reservations about Friday’s moving help with this company. Would recommend using this company for your moving needs!

  • We had a good experience with Two More Hands Moving! We hired a team of three to unload our truck after moving from a 2-bedroom apartment into our new house, and they also helped with unpacking and light furniture assembly. They were very helpful. They unloaded everything, assembled furniture, placed items where we wanted them, broke down all the boxes, and gathered the packing paper and bubble wrap into trash bags in the garage. They even helped us fix a piece of furniture that was damaged during the move (not by them). Overall, they made moving day much easier. Would definitely recommend!

  • Although the movers were on time and did a great job, I did sustain damage to one item of furniture during the process. Several legs on my media cabinet was damaged. I'm going to try securing them with industrial glue in hopes of not having to replace it entirely.

  • Movers broke 3 of my items and before they left I pointed out what was broken Jimmie took photos of my TV stand my Dresser and my couch Said he would send the photos to his manager BEFORE he walked out of my apartment And that I would hear from him soon to resolve compensate for what was broken during the move. I called Tuesday morning to touch base since I had not heard anything, what u assume was the manager answered and I explained what had happened and what Jimmie had told me before he left my apartment. Management was unaware of anything and said they had to speak to their movers and that they would get back to me It’s now Thursday won’t answer my calls text or emails I sent photos and videos of what THEY broke DO NOT HIRE THEM I will be seeking them out in small courts claims So unprofessional and dont want to assume responsibility for what their employees break

  • These guys were fantastic. I booked a load and unload session with Uhaul and set the start time for 9.30. Marquiest and Q showed up at 9.15 ready to get started. We did a short walk through, then these guys went to work. They were EXTREMELY efficient, loading everything in under 30 minutes. Not only was it quick, but they packed the truck PERFECTLY - nothing shifted during the drive. They unloaded everything just as efficiently and we were done in under 2.5 hours round trip. If I need to move again, this is the only company I am working with. These guys were kind, careful, and honestly hilarious. Cannot recommend higher - 6 out of 5 stars.

  • The movers were nice, however my U-Haul was one of the biggest ones and the work was not organized everything was just thrown. Boxes on top of my fragile boxes. I had to go back and rearrange everything just to make more space because I still had a lot of boxes to place inside. Although I appreciate the help with moving the very heavy things I’m not content with the work.

  • John was late but to be fair we booked the evening before. I verified with him twice, it was 2 people but it was only him and bless his heart, he had fresh burns on him but worked hard. John did a great job with our house items, very conscientious but to finish the garage items in the 2 hours time limit, it was rushed. We had to rearrange those items to get the remaining items in after he and his wife (she sat in the car) left. I would hire John again but only if he had help.

  • Right when we got to new apt the movers were arguing loud and cursing at each other! It was ridiculous and unprofessional. Remember, this is our new place and moving is stressful enough. It was not a great experience.

  • Even though this provider had a scheduling problem arise ( their job from the day before ended up requiring a second day) they sent another moving team in their place, and the substitutes did a great job.

We were planning on doing everything ourselves and decided last minute to get some help after the drive. From their attitudes to their efficiency, everything was 5 star and it won’t even be a question when we move out; we will certainly be requesting the same people!

  • I booked 2 movers for 2 hours. I got one mover, who arrived late, for 40 minutes. I had to find someone else (a friend) to help load the heavy items, and those items were the only reason I booked a mover at all. It wasn't possible for one person to load alone. So, we loaded most of our own move. I was only provided with part of what I ordered, booked and paid for. After the three of us (one mover, my friend and myself) loaded the UBox. The mover asked me for some code I was supposed to have received by text. He found it in my phone and typed it into his, telling me that the code was to let UHaul know that the job was finished. The code was actually to release payment IN FULL for a job that was only done in part. I never would have agreed to pay fully when I was supposed to have two movers and had to provide my own help to get the job done. The second guy just never showed up. Now, I hear that U-Haul-MovingHelp is 'just a marketplace' and won't help.
