  • I hired All Star Assist to help unloading into a new apartment. The quote I received was very reasonable compared to other companies, and I couldn't be more pleased with my service. My two person crew showed up early for the appointment and even got the job done early. Everything made it safely to my apartment and in good condition. I would definitely hire again!

  • Communication beforehand was good and the crew showed up on time. Things started off pretty well and the movers did a good job of protecting the furniture with our provided blankets. I wasn't especially happy with the state of the truck when they left after three hours, however. I probably should have booked more time or helpers for the job - so I could understand if there was still a little work to do at the end. However, truck didn't seem very efficiently packed. First I had to remove some things, then I had to climb over some furniture in order to fill a very large void and ensure everything fit in the truck. Upon unloading the truck, I learned that there was also some unused space at the very front of the truck. Unfortunately I can't give a full recommendation based on my experience.

  • Kelvin and Calvin were great movers. They were incredibly polite and professional, very courteous to me and my family. They worked hard despite it being their third move of the day and the hottest day of the year. We had a minor delay because of the rain, but Chris, the owner, was very communicative and worked with me to find a solution. Moving is hard and stressful, but they did everything they could to make it as smooth as possible.

  • These guys were outstanding. Needed a 4 man crew instead of the more common 2 man. They accommodated my request without hesitation and had to move a lot of really heavy items. It was also raining steadily for most of the 6 hours during the move. They never complained and never slowed down. I would not hesitate to use them again and actually plan to in the near future. When you look and see other companies charging over $300 an hour for their services, call these guys first. Quality service at a much more reasonable price.   • The two-man crew sent by the company was about 30 minutes late and came unprepared. I had texted asking if help would bring handtrucks, furniture dollies, etc and was advised the crew would come prepared to pack a 26 ft. box truck large enough to hold a 3 bedroom house. Needless to say, the men showed up empty handed and had to use my two handtrucks. They were so inexperienced packing that they could NOT pack ALL my furniture. They waited until their time was up to inform me and had no time to repack to make room for the furniture instead of ASKING what to pack when the space started to dwindled. I had to spend $3,000 extra on a UHaul shipping container to get the rest of my furniture to my new home.. They packed so poorly 3 of 6 legs on my antique dining table were shattered. It is a TOTAL loss and can't be repaired. The damage to my other furniture is too long to list here. So in short, I regret hiring ALL STAR ASSIST, LLC. I trusted the wrong company. Don't make the same mistake.

On moving day, they were extremely punctual, showing up at noon on the dot. Then, they were unbelievably fast, efficient, and hard working when it came time to unload the truck. We traveled 6.5 hours and not a single item had shifted or broken, including one giant and heavy hutch with glass and mirrors and lightbulbs. We also picked up another Loadshare 12-foot trailer in addition to our 20-foot trailer and dropped it off in this rural area in Illinois, but the turns and stops were no match for All Star Assist's packing! They brought some of their own equipment, were pleasant and made this stressful event easy on me (and my husband who would have had to find people to help him move some of the items). Don't think twice - just book these guys. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Remember the end of the month is a busy time for movers. If you can book early and be flexible with your time, it's best for all.

  • The movers themselves did a pretty good job, but 45 minutes before they were scheduled to start they asked to switch to the next day. I told them that wasn't feasible for me, so they pushed the time back by 4 hours. It worked out, but it was extremely inconvenient and forced me to rearrange my plans for the rest of the day with very little notice.

  • Chris & his partner took on my job with only 24 hrs notice. I had a moving Pod that needed to be off loaded. The logistics were less than ideal requiring more walking than I wanted. Chris & his partner didn't complain & got the job done. Chris even made sure they worked the full 2 hours after the Pod was empty helping me move & arrange boxes in the storage unit.   • I booked Chris and Tra for my move today for the 1st time. They called immediately to confirm my reservation and they called the day before for a 2nd confirmation. They showed up early which was great! They greeted me and was very polite while engaging in conversation. They moved swiftly and efficiently and was very careful with handling my things. They were careful not to damage the premises as well and I appreciated that. We ran into a lil snag trying to get my box springs up a tight stairwell, but they offered to come back and assist if I decided to get smaller ones.   • Let me just say; If you use anyone else? You're absolutely crazy. These guys went above and beyond with this job. They came fully prepared, early, ready to kick ass and take names. I have to have movers to help me move because I'm disabled, I have had many movers in the past and I can say with absolute conviction; THESE ARE THE GUYS YOU WANT! If you care about your stuff. If you want hard workers who just keep at it. If you're a single disabled person, or a family of 15. These are your guys. Don't pay more. Split the difference, because trust me, you'll want to tip these guys what they're worth and that is way more than you'll get with other movers. Make the choice. Choose All Star Assist.

  • Easily the best moving service I’ve ever worked with! We were in a pinch and needed same day unloading help. They were affordable, arrived early, worked hard nonstop, & handled all our furniture and belongings with care! A job that should have taken probably 3 or 4 hours only took 2! Will definitely use them again when we move out in a couple years.
