  • David charged me an unexpected charge of 150.00. I ended up paying a total of 455.00 for a 2 hour job . His team were moving in slow pace. I didn’t have no bed room furniture or big dining table. Mostly boxes, bed and living room furniture. 2 bedroom apartment- it’s sad how he ripped me off . It’s all good - I will tell you one thing god don’t like ugly , rude and greedy people like David.

  • One guy pushed past me on arrival to use our restroom. My spouse says he asked if he could use it, but I didn't hear it. Not a great way to start the move. The owner told me they were waiting around for us to arrive from the previous address so they had plenty of time to find a public restroom before we got there. Otherwise, I did receive a text within the 24 time frame from the initial booking, but had to contact them myself the day before the move to confirm they were still coming. David (the owner) also called me the morning of the move which scared me - thought he was going to cancel - but was asking me to move up my timeline significantly. That was impossible because we had to get everything moved out of the other place first. I kept in contact with him to send updates, which is how I learned that they'd been waiting for us for nearly an hour before our agreed upon start time. That information was unnecessary, unless he was trying to guilt trip us. Not using them again.

Unexperienced movers may not have been able to get everything to fit. They reached out shortly after I requested their services to schedule the time and cover all the logistics. They arrived exactly when they said they would on the day of the move and did the job in a third of the time that I thought it would take based on my previous experiences with movers. They even carried the couch that I was getting rid of outside to the curb. Overall, one of the best and easiest moves I have had.

  • We hired DaBraco movers for a split move, one day for a storage unit, and another for our house. They were fantastic both days, doing their best to help us finish things on time. We had everything boxed up (didn't hire them for packing) and they packed everything like they're professional tetris players. They also moved a massage chair like it was nothing, which speaking form experience is absolutely not easy! Impressive all around.

As the final truck in a 4 part move, we had a lot to fit into the truck - David was a Jenga master in this and successfully loaded everything perfectly. • We had a great experience with DeBraco movers. We were moving across the country and they loaded our UHaul boxes for us. I terribly underestimated the number of containers we would need, but they recognized the issue immediately and helped us order more which they went to pick up and bring back. It took all day to load the 9 containers, but they were friendly and polite the entire day. They were conscientious about properly wrapping and loading everything so that it would be transported without damage. They also did a great job maximizing the space within the containers. The company that unloaded our containers at the other end of the move even commented on what an impressive job the DeBraco team did loading and packing our belongings. I would definitely recommend this company for your moving needs and would use them again myself without even thinking about it.

They had to get my full size, built-to-last leather couch up two flights of very awkward stairs. The couch was unwrapped and they were surrounded by jagged wood and bricks. • I could not have asked for a better experience! The crew came prepared, enthusiastic and ready to move out of the 7th floor one bedroom apartment and load the moving truck. They had to right equipment to make the move go efficiently and effective. They were the most professional and customer service oriented individuals I have worked with in a long time. They reassured me the moving truck would be packed the right way for the 2,000 mile move .... and they were correct! Nothing was out of place when the moving truck arrived at its destination. I heard the greatest compliment from the apartment building manager (who has to interact with lots of moving companies). The apartment building manager pulled me aside after the move out was complete and asked me where I found this crew. He had not seen or interacted with such professionals who had a great attitude, knew what to do and how to do it; and customer service in taking care of the apartment belongings and the apartment building itself.

  • The move consisted of a load and unload, and was completed by 2 guys who showed up on time and finished the job quickly under 3 hours. Nothing was damaged and they did a fine job. The only issue arose when I gave my cash tip to one of the movers, he said that they normally receive $100 per mover. That might be reasonable for moving a whole house over a full day, but not for a 2 hour move with elevators and very little furniture. This made things uncomfortable as I gave $20 per person, which I thought was reasonable for a relatively small move (1 bedroom apartment, furniture only). I ended up giving an additional $60, bringing it to $100 total or $50 per person. I now realize this was too much and I regret giving the extra cash. The mover manipulated and pressured me into giving more. I would not recommend.
