I think that you have to make mobile check in accessible without having to go inside and get keys from counter. I went through whole process and had to walk back and forth across a very large lot to first find vehicle, then get keys, then go back to vehicle. There was a at least a 20 min line in front of me, and had I not been kinda rude and walked to the front and interrupted another customer with the one person working, I would have had quite a wait to get the keys. Also think you should let people know they will need a passport, lease, employer phone or third party phone to finalize the pick up.

Though I find it hard to recommend ANY Uhaul dealer to a friend, after the way I was robbed on this transaction. More than $100 per day for a dinky 4x8 trailer??? If Uhaul had any competition in Northern Idaho, I would have gone elsewhere, and will try my best to avoid Uhaul in the future. Kudos, however, to the friendly clerk in North Canton, who removed the bogus Saf-Tow charges after I complained.

Lady told us not to fill it because they dont reimburse for gas. So we didn't, then I get charged an extra $31. THEN I asked for an appliance dolly and it was supposed to be held for me with the truck and when I got there they said they don't have one. Plus the cashier was very rude and even rude to her coworker next to her, treating her almost inhumane. Super unsatisfied, smh. Won't be back to this location

I went there to rent a trailer, and there was a good amount in the parking lot, went into the store to ask since I am aware it's Friday and there might be reservations, the two ladies working quickly responded with no none are available. I asked if they can set me up a reservation at another location and was told no. I asked why and they said they already knew there was none available anywhere as they have been looking all day. Mind you this was in the afternoon on a Friday, some might have been returned. But they refused to do their job and look. Could tell I was interrupting whatever non work they were doing. I left pretty upset and was verbal about it since those 2 ladies have done this to me a few times in the past. So I went back to my car, went online and did a reservation for a trailer they had that was available. Not only was I lied to, it proved more that they just don't care about their customers. Went back into the store, told them I had a reservation for a trailer they had and told them turns out you were wrong, the one lady was surprised but check me out and was a little more professional about it. Got the trailer all hooked up and went home, once I got home I checked the inspections stickers and saw that the trailer has not been leveled inspected for weeks now. Did the inspections myself and had a tire with low pressure. Got that fixed. When I returned the following day, the other lady was way more professional then I have ever seen her be. She actually came out after I got the trailer disconnected. Went over the condition with me, explained the low pressure tire, stated she will look, got my receipt and left. That was experience was better then I have been treated there in the past. Which was nice. Overall tho, this GM need to train their CSRs better, the MCP needs to train her GMs, be more professional and make sure all their equipment is properly inspected each and every time, week and month as required. UHauls in AZ this was not allowed to not maintain the equipment like they do in Ohio.

Talk about customer service this is one of the best experiences I have ever received. I rented a trailer upon returning it a torrential downpour came down it was literally raining sideways so I was going to wait until it slowed down to unhook, while sitting there waiting I got a tap on the window and there was a young lady in a rain suit asking if I was using the card on file I said yes I cannot believe she actually came out and unhooked me in this downpour.

Horrible customer service when we arrived we were the only customers there and 4 workers were sitting there talking looking at their phones we had to say excuse me to get help then when she came she continued her conversation with her friend instead of helping us then we returned our equipment 4 hours later (we rented it for 12) but they didn't “check it in” and charged us another day I have called, emailed , reached out multiple times and have not received any help. Worst experience ever

The staff was very friendly. They helped me better than the people I er the phone. I would go to the office before talking to headquarters. However the facility was not good. The map showed doors in the back, they don't work and I was place all the way in the back. The access hours are horrible. Where I moved from in escanaba I had use them for storage it was excellent. I could go in my storage anytime with my key. N. Canton I needed something at 11 pm and could not get it. 24hr access denied During the day it's open and not supervised as well. I will still recommend but the whole experience was bad. The lady at headquarters really mess my order up and she should not be working there. The headquarters are nothing but pushy sells people pushing you to buy

I had to drive 50 miles out of my way to get the truck, then I got a text saying it wouldn't be ready until an hour later. Went to the storage unit and I can not Get into my unit only during business hours. My code doesn't work, unloading took a very long time due to the location of unloading docks. I got a text to drop the truck somewhere else and I called and refused to do it. Gas is 5 dollars a gallon and giving MORE mileage is not a reimbursement to transport your truck to and from my scheduled pick up and drop off. I have called Uhaul and they said they can't do anything!

Quoted price at reservation was almost half of what was charged when I picked up the truck. I was told, the girl that quoteded you was new and made a mistake. I'm sure they didn't properly try to deceive me but was updating none the less. Then they added insurance when I declined it, my bad for not reading the contract closely before I signed. The business had no remorse for any of their mistakes. Would not recommend this location and also read before you sign and get a printed estimate/ quote when making reservation.

I went in the same day (which is what I selected as my check in online date) and it said access denied- check in not made. I message the dealer from the uhaul website and never received a response. I want a refund. This was an emergency situation getting a family member out of an abusive situation and all claims that you can check in online and it's hassle free was a lie.

Staff always pleasant. Light above my section was out for months, very inconvenient. Bathroom frequently out of order. Sliding door often malfunctioning. When there was an issue after hours and tried calling the number on the sign got a number no longer in service message.

Not enough lighting, improper ventilation (smelled), dirty floors and the "recycle" center as soon as you walk in always looks like a trash dump. The rental unit I had with a different company prior to Uhaul was pristine and charged less per month.

I actually moved out if the storage in the 19th if August and due to me not having transportation to get to the facility and check out I had to call, that was a nightmare I tried calling the facility numerous times with no luck I called from the 18th to the 25 if August. I finally reached someone around the 28th. Now my move out date reads the 31st. Customer service is not the too priority with this certain facility. Shame cause I've used U-Haul many times in my Navy Carrier and never had a problem. I will use them again they are a great company just this one time if bad communication and lack of a vehicle in my part will not turn me away from U-Haul I am a loyal customer and will always use them.

Our largest storage unit did have a large amount of mouse poop along back wall and in left front corner despite the black bait box. Unit 2077. Other units currently rented (same time) did not have this issue.

We were satisfied until the very end. We emptied one of our units 6 weeks before the due date and the second one 2 weeks before the due date. SEVERAL people told us we would get a refund on the unused time after our final unit was emptied. Upon completion we were told refunds are not done. This wasn't fair as uhaul could have re-rented these units and gotten double money on them. We've learned our lesson. Next time we will keep the units, empty or not until the very last minute!

Storage was good. Jeff at the whipple store horrible. I didn't appreciate him sending me down to the uhaul store in the drug infested area in canton. He had told me the truck would be available at the whipple location once we arrived @ the whipple store I was told to pickup on E Tusc. After arriving @ the store on Tusc. the young lady could not find my rsvp. Back to whipple the gentleman had to call the manager to get things straightened out. Manager upgraded truck. Rsvp a second truck & Jeff once again screwed up. He was to schedule pickup Canton & return & he did not. Manager once again took care of the problem. No I will recommend renting truck from uhaul location. Jeff horrible poor customer service never smiled & I pray he didn't do what he did based on what he THOUGHT was social economics. I can assure whatever the cost for rental we can afford. I felt he judge me on the color of my skin / social economics. I would like a feed back. Gracias

Management and staff at this facility are outstanding and easy to work with. They are very knowledgeable and are always ready to resolve any issues that may arise. Due to ur storage system being down. They couldn't rent a storage unit to me. Even though I reserved one a week earlier. But expected me to pay for an xtra day to rent the truck. To keep my stuff in.. Assistant Manager was very rude. (Granted at this point I was not happy) He rufused to comp any of this contract for my inconvenience. And none of this was my fault. I am not happy...

Everything in my UHaul experience was positive, except the Tow Dolly experience in Toronto.... They sent me to a facility that did NOT have a Tow Dolly...... And I wasted a lot of time driving across town to get one.... Then their computer didn't show that I had already paid for the Dolly..... Anyway, it all got worked out, but a lot of time was wasted!!!

The gentleman that checked me in was excellent! My complaint is with the condition of the facility itself. There were absoluteLy no lights working in the hallway & was told it couldn't be fixed until Monday (after moving day). Could not see anything inside of my unit. Snow was not cleared around the door so we could not get carts to work. As soon as you walk in there is nothing but others peoples JUNK facing you. I paid slightly less for a PRISTINE unit in MI that i could even drive my vehicle into for loading/unloading. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere. I always have a good experience with truck rental & my friends unit was decent, but this was way below my expectations (especially of Uhaul) for the price.

My experience with my storage unit was down right horrible. The staff at this location is one of the worst staffs I've seen in any business that is still open. They are not accommodating, make you jump through hoops to get things done and sometimes down-right nasty. I would not recommend this facility or ANY of their services to anyone. I will try and avoid uHaul altogether from here on out due to my latest experience. Someone needs to take a close look at this location and how it is ran and the people that are running it.

My husband was very upset that he was not verbally told he had to have a special lock. He went to Home Depot and had masterlocks all keyed the same only to find out by a notice hanging on the unit doors that those locks were not allowed. Other than that everything was tip top.

Was told I had access until 10:00 pm. Got there at 7:30 pm and could not get access per instructions given to me. Had to call number on door for manager. First she did not answer cell phone. Had to call second time before she answered. She said I had to use both access places because it was after 7:00 pm. I did and door opened but not sliding door. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20% off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm. He would have been required to stay over until today and I would not have been able to have my help with unloading.
