The staff was very friendly. They helped me better than the people I er the phone. I would go to the office before talking to headquarters. However the facility was not good. The map showed doors in the back, they don't work and I was place all the way in the back. The access hours are horrible. Where I moved from in escanaba I had use them for storage it was excellent. I could go in my storage anytime with my key. N. Canton I needed something at 11 pm and could not get it. 24hr access denied During the day it's open and not supervised as well. I will still recommend but the whole experience was bad. The lady at headquarters really mess my order up and she should not be working there. The headquarters are nothing but pushy sells people pushing you to buy

Acess to the indoor units is good when just one person is moving items in or out. However when many people are there doing the same as was the case when I arrived it is very congested and not enough room to maneuver.

Went to the storage unit and I can not Get into my unit only during business hours. My code doesn't work, unloading took a very long time due to the location of unloading docks. I got a text to drop the truck somewhere else and I called and refused to do it. Gas is 5 dollars a gallon and giving MORE mileage is not a reimbursement to transport your truck to and from my scheduled pick up and drop off. I have called Uhaul and they said they can't do anything!

The business had no remorse for any of their mistakes. Would not recommend this location and also read before you sign and get a printed estimate/ quote when making reservation.

Checkout was quick and easy (the reason this is 2 stars instead of 1), although the cashier said that no after-hours dropoffs were available despite there being a 24/7 dropbox outside the front door. Had this option been available, it would've avoided the headache that dropoff became. My wife and I had planned to drop the van off at 7a when the store opened, but it didn't open until almost an hour and a half after it was scheduled to. This cut into my work day since I didn't have another opportunity to return the vehicle until after the store had closed again which was obviously too late. I can understand emergencies happening, but no compensation for the trouble and wasted time was offered during the return of the vehicle. No effort was made to make it right, otherwise I would have been willing to give a 4 star rating (still dropped from 5 for the strong smoke smell).

Frances M.The CSR (Katherine) was not prepared to do her job properly. There was no handheld available to complete the contract with regards to taking the photo of the DL. She used her personal phone and just took a pictire pf my uncles DL. She did not verify if the address was current, get a second contact number. At least one hand held should be left in the store. Once the contract was completed the address and email was not current on the printed out contract. Told us we were not allowed to do the 24/7 online check in when we were tp returned the trailer since they are too busy for that? Uhaul offers that, said such and she said trailers don't count just the trucks. Again Uhaul offers that option for a reason. There was another set of customers in the store that were just there to buy moving supplies, I let her know she can take care of them then hook up the trailer since she was the only CSR in the store and you should NEVER leave the store and money drawers unattended. She refused and left them alone. Once we got to the trailer it was missing the rubber seals, mentioned that, she said they were not needed.... um wrong, they are and requested them, stated they should be on the cleaning cart, so she takes them from another trailer. The light wiring wax missing so, once again she takes it from another trailer, does not even inspect the wire to make sure its not split or anything. The TD itself has not been leveled 1 since 3rd week of March and leveled 2 technically at all since the sticker was in the wrong spot but there was one that showed it hasn't been leveled 2 since last summer. There was damaged to the driver side fender that was not documented and the handled on the tongue was missing. She couldn't care less. Upon returning the TD we waited in the drop off lane the next morning for over 10 minutes watching both CSRs ignore us and clean out trucks. Another couple went into the store so my husband went and dropped the TD from the spot we picked it up at while I went into the store. I waited in line since there was a couple renting a truck, next thing I knew she handed me a receipt for the trailer. She did not look the trailer over or attempt to drop the trailer like she is is required to. I brought that up and she did not care. The receipt had the current address of my uncle that never gave her? So that's where my thought was that she took a pic of his license the previous day with her personal phone which is a huge no no. I have worked for Uhaul and this MCO group needs so much training again and it starts at the top with the MCP who allows this along with the GMs.

I finally reached someone around the 28th. Now my move out date reads the 31st. Customer service is not the too priority with this certain facility. Shame cause I've used U-Haul many times in my Navy Carrier and never had a problem. I will use them again they are a great company just this one time if bad communication and lack of a vehicle in my part will not turn me away from U-Haul I am a loyal customer and will always use them.

This wasn't fair as uhaul could have re-rented these units and gotten double money on them. We've learned our lesson. Next time we will keep the units, empty or not until the very last minute!

No I will recommend renting truck from uhaul location. Jeff horrible poor customer service never smiled & I pray he didn't do what he did based on what he THOUGHT was social economics. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20% off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm. He would have been required to stay over until today and I would not have been able to have my help with unloading.
