Below poor quality climate control rooms. The paint from uhauls storage room, chipped all over our belongings. I will never use uhaul for any services ever again and i will never never speak positively of uhaul and will never recommend them ever.

John B.Facility was incredibly well lit and clean on the inside. We couldn't ever get into the building after dusk even though we were told we'd be able to. I tried calling the office with questions a few times but no one would ever answer so I always ended up talking to someone at the UHaul call center. I was told we had 48 hours after our monthly payment was due to check out of our units by the ladies in the office as well as through the UHaul live chat feature. When we went to check out during that time our account had been suspended because we were "late." However, we weren't. The ladies in the office gave my husband a hard time about it-good thing I had taken screenshots of my live chat conversation confirming that we did have the full additional 48 hours.

That would have been part of the deposit kept by this place. I need another uhaul and may have to go with this place. Why did they lie.

The walls are covered in dripping grime from the exhaust fan cutout as if it was not installed properly, nor with enough installation. Corners of the unit included tons of dirt/grime/debri.

DAVID M. | Overall ExperienceThe advertised 10x8' units are not 10x8, they are about 10x6'3" so when we went to store our stuff, it wouldn't fit and we had to go back and upgrade to 10x10'. If you know it is not 10x8 you should not present it as such. just be honest. Today, 1/8/23 I needed to get something at 6:50 AM and the door denied access. Access is stated to be at 5 AM.

Dan S.The 26 ft. Truck I rented had terrible fumes in the cab, was badly in need of a tune up, and was so loud it was embarrassing to drive. Somehow my 14 mile trip took 8 gallons of gas. They should be ashamed to rent out such poor equipment.

Moving carts were waiting every time I needed to get items to my storage unit. The only complaint was late fee amount. Granted it was always my fault, but $15 for a late fee of one day I thought was steep. Overall great place. Would use it again if I needed storage.

Michael S.Lady checked me out, I operated the tail lights and she checked for me. I guess I should have check for myself. When I got back to my shop the one rear marker light was out I had to replace the pigtail before loading the trailer. The brake light on the other side was dim but operated as intended. She also made me lift the trailer onto my hitch, could have brought a floor jack to do that. I had the 6x12 trailer it was quite heavy.

Scott W.As a suggestion, perhaps service rep could accompany customer to the vehicle and give an overview of the equipment and how it works, I was not sure how to operate the windshield wipers. Overall, however, I had a very satisfactory experience.
Thomas C.The 10foot box truck that I rented seemed to need brake work. It did not stop the greatest and had warped rotors that caused bad vibration under braking. Also, the lady that handled my rental failed to tell me about the $20 additional fee for an "after hour" rental drop off.

However I was told I needed to unhook the trailer for the lady working as she could not do it. I didn't exactly mind, but…I just paid for a whole extra day for being a few hours late. To me, that isn't exactly right. Pro rate the time…or have someone capable of unhooking the trailer as I do not work there. What would happen if I got hurt? No one helped me…just go drop it there.

Robert P.I had to have professional grinding done on the metal on the car trailer because the damage that was present, which a woman tried to ridiculously fix with a tiny hammer, would have cut my car tires and made either one or both passenger side tires flat or completely ruined. This was absolutely not acceptable and caused delays in my move. Also the oil light came on after 400 miles or so and caused me great stress as to whether or not I needed to fix it and with absolutely no time to spare on the cross country trip I just kept driving. How sad that neither the truck or the car trailer were maintained for the customer.

I Made a truck reservation a month in advance at the Whipple location for a move across the state. The day before pick-up, I received an email stating that my truck would be at a different location for some reason. When I arrived there I was told my truck was not available and that it "might have been given to someone else" shortly before I got there. When I asked where my truck was, the man could not give me a clear answer or explanation and said I "made my reservation too early" and that I "should have waited until less than a week before the move because my truck probably got lost in the system!" I was livid!!! We lost 2 hours of our busy moving day bouncing between reps on the phone. One rep eventually found a truck for me... at the Whipple location, where I originally reserved the truck in the first place!!

Douglas H. | First ImpressionsWe set up the unit with autopay. We put our credit card number on file. We used the card on file to buy packing supplies. When it came time to pay the second month's rent it wasn't charged to our card. Instead we got a late notice and we were charged a $15 late fee. I tried to call numerous times but no one ever answered. I went to the U-Haul website and used the chat function. I was assured twice that I would receive a call back from the local GM. I never got a call. I stopped in and was treated very rudely by the person who was working. I sent an email to the GM but never got a response. She was quick however to send a notice of a rate increase. Our rent was paid through 9/21 but our account was closed on 9/15. Luckily we had removed our belongings by then. The business practices are unethical and the customer service is horrible. I'd never rent from that site again and would never recommend it either. There are plenty of other storage places around and I'd recommend any of them before U-Haul.

wendy f. | Overall ExperienceOur locker was in the rear of the "temperature controlled" building. It was still VERY warm in the building, all the time. It wasn't cool like the front of the building was. Also, it was an extremely long way to walk from the front parking lot....it is ridiculous that they don't allow people to use the rear entrance to load and unload their lockers, especially since the rear entrance is right around the corner.

Went to the storage unit and I can not Get into my unit only during business hours. My code doesn't work, unloading took a very long time due to the location of unloading docks. I got a text to drop the truck somewhere else and I called and refused to do it. Gas is 5 dollars a gallon and giving MORE mileage is not a reimbursement to transport your truck to and from my scheduled pick up and drop off. I have called Uhaul and they said they can't do anything!
