I was told that the fuel tank was full and I was to return it full. I had a 15 ft truck and drove it a total of 14 miles. When I filled the tank, it took nearly 4 gallons. Obviously, the tank was not full when I received it - because I am sure that a 15 ft truck gets much more than 3.5 miles per gallon. I asked for a “rebate” of $3.00 to offset the gas that wasn’t in a full tank when I received the truck. The clerk, Ms Slabaugh, agreed to my request. I would suggest that you institute policy changes to ensure that “full tank” means “full tank”

Technically, the truck was functional. Inside the cab was crumbs and dirt in the drink holders. The truck itself was ok but did not run great. Ran like a very old truck and the steering feels like a ball joint or tie rod end or something is going. Feels like it is on its last leg.

Website had a glitch that ended up creating two reservations, this was found by the attendee at the Uhaul location that I picked up my truck at. She noted the discrepancy and corrected it. Upon return of my truck another attendee noticed that I brought back my rental early and under the estimated miles and credited me back without my having to ask. The associates at the North Canton Uhaul Center are courteous, professional, and observant. This is my second time renting at this location and both times were handled very well.

When I made the reservation on-line, the cargo van pictured on your website was not the same type as I actually received. Not a huge issue, but I was initially a bit concerned that I would not have enough storage space. It worked out fine. Overall, the experience was very positive. Each of the staff members I worked with were very friendly and helpful.

When speaking with a CSA over the phone(not a store employee) I was told I would have a reservation for a storage unit(and gave credit card info to hold as requested by agent) when arriving to my destination out of town. When I got there, there was NO reservation and that particular location did not even have available the size unit I needed. I then had to drive across town to another location where I was able to get a unit. Once I arrived and my rental was returned I had a small yet irritating bill due for mileage overages. I exceeded my miles because of the agent I spoke with over the phone not finishing her job. Not too happy regardless of the small amount but more so because this set me back almost 2 hours of time.

I was provided excellent service at pickup. For some reason my vehicle light connector was not working for just running lights. It was cold and pouring rain and the service woman worked on fixing this for probably 45 minutes. She tried fuses, additional connectors, other trailers. I was very impressed. She might have been the only employee there Friday night at 7 and went out of her way to get this fixed and send me on my way with everything working.

Telephone customer service was poor. Continued to send the wrong drop off location even after 3 attempts to discuss. Employees at the pick up location were great, flexible and very helpful.

You can hire more people like the man with whom I dealt ( Michael Ellis ) at the store in North Canton, Ohio. I had several bad experiences at the store in Massillon Ohio ( the females there were discourteous and nasty. I have talked to friends who have has the same experience with those two at the Massillon store. This man was courteous, helpful and polite. He conducted himself like a concerned business man.

I was pleased with the condition and function of the truck, but very surprised and dissappointd in the excessive total cost of renting the truck for one day . The daily rental rate of $29 plus $14 for insurance were very reasonable, but the additional cost of $ .79 cents per mile along with my cost of fuel in total cost me a total of $475 for using the truck for one day!!- far more than I I expected or anticipated.

Very impressed with customer service training at this location. Since early Nov I have used this location to purchase moving supplies, do a one way rental, a local rental and a storage rental. Each staff member I have met has been friendly, well trained , carefully explained options and process and billings. The vehicles were clean and in perfect order.

I rented a cargo van and there was a belt that was squeaking loudly to the point we did not know if it would a break down. It also had a bad rubber smell. The back was dirty and damage some furniture.

Now, this is a Uhaul location. This is a dedicated Uhaul location with resources and staff that know their equipment and system. If you’re looking at how to do your operation, this is it. The peripheral locations that you have are not delivering the brand that you want to be known for.

Your self check in site needs to be accessible for everyone. Get rid of the location finder because most people aren't that stupid to go to a different location than where they picked up their truck and that location finder prevented me from being able to use the self check in after hours. I was NOT happy!

It should be noted that my pick up location changed due to a customer failing to drop off the truck at the location I was scheduled to make the pick up. Result was not truck available for me. The staff went above and called other locations, found me a truck and even took me to the U-Haul site to get it. I flew in to CAK and as a result took a UBER to get to the site so did not have alternate transportation. Good Job!
