The Uhaul I rented died on me while I was in Bloomington, so I had to get it jumped and returned later that night. It ended up taking so much longer than planned, we unloaded at 1am vs 11pm. I would love come in to complain and hopes to getting some sort of compensation but I truly am on a time crunch, plus the car was very sticky

I made a reservation a month in advance only to show up and be told we don't have a truck reserved for you. I was told to come back 6 hours later some one should be bringing a truck back but no promises. The truck did come back , and I was able to rent it, after a lot of worry and stress

My truck was reserved and I had a confirmation number; however when I went to pick up my truck, I was told that it was not at that location and they did not have one. I went to 4 U-Hauls that day, and 3 hours later (after hiring movers) I was given a truck that was 9' shorter than ordered. Very disappointing!!! Moving is stressful enough, and we were moving until 10pm on a Sunday night.

Caselton was the third location I was directed to to pick up a trailer. I spent an entire day getting this trailer because of UHauls incompetence. You should make vast improvements and changes to your method of handling customers orders.

I have been trying to call the UHaul store where I rented this trailer. I was double charged. My debit transaction from that day (7/27) shows $40.61, but I was just online for my bank and I was charged $81.21. I would like this corrected. We rented 2 other times since this one. Usually service is very good at this location but I need this corrected. No one will answer the phone.

The instructions to do after hour return needs to be more clear. We ended up paying more for the rentals and we were charged twice for 20 miles at pick up and 38 miles during drop off though we used the truck only for 38 miles in total.

I was supposed to pick it up in Lafayette Indiana on Friday june30 at 1:00 pm. When I arrive they had no truck and didn't bother to call and tell me. Their response was they were running behind. My daughter had to be out of their apartment that day. I finally told a representative that I had to have one and why. Magically they found one at the place I was supposed to drop off. Severely dissatisfied. To top it off my daughter Katelyn Thies reserved movers to load and unload. They showed up 2 hours late on Friday. They said they would be back Saturday morning at 11:00 am. At 11:40 we called they said they were hung in traffic and would be there by 12:30. She called at least 15 times starting at 12:30 and no answer. She called corporate and the only answer she got was they would be disciplined. Then they got smart with her when she told them she wasn't paying for the second half. We ended up unloading ourself to keep from paying for a second day for the haul. Bad back and all. THATS WHY WE HIRED THEM. So dissatisfied

Absolutely terrible. My pickup was scheduled for 8:30 am. I show up a few minutes after to be told that my U-Haul has a flat tire and that the repair was scheduled for 10:00. I leave and come back at 10:30. The vendor scheduled to fix the tire hasn't even showed up and no one is checking on it until I return to ask. This threw off my entire plan and screwed me in many ways. I was offered $50 to compensate for all of that? Yeah, okay. My contract was also 20 miles off of the actual mileage on the truck - don't expect me to walk back in the store to get that fixed when I'm three hours behind schedule due to a poorly run organization - so I was charged for being 19 miles over what I was allowed, even though I had the gas tank filled far beyond what was expected. The system your employees are working with is horrible and they were having nonstop issues, a few folks had a confirmation email and nothing registered on the U-Haul location's end. Stop being cheap and give your employees what they need to do their jobs. It adds unnecessary stress to them and the people keeping you in business. I will not be renting with U-Haul again.

I get robbed on my trailer 2 TIMES!!!! I call managers, customer service and no one help me out. They take out a lot of stuff from the trailer. I was paying for security and i dont receive NONE OF THAT. I was really mad at the service, the employees see me at the office and dont help me out at all with the situation. I do two police reports and still not getting a compensation for all that inget robbed on the trailer. They said that they dont have footage for that days... i was really angry. I do not recommend this for anyone and im never gonna use this storage AGAIN. CASTLETON INDIANA

New truck was nice, but the seat belt was already damaged but serviceable. I think the truck should be washed but I get it when it's difficult to find people to work when the government is paying them not to work. Overall it was a quick service. Good value.

Uhaul rep was rude and would not stop vaping. We just bought our suv (brand new) and installed a hitch. Rep kept ranting about how the hitch and wiring harness were over rated for our car and how our vehicle isn't a truck so it can't pull a trailer so why would we bother renting one. Once we got the trailer home I walked through to do the inspection, we opened it up and it's full of trash! About 5 trash bags full. Then walking around the trailer the front two tires are bald. I use uhaul a lot! 99% of the time it's a great experience. Trucks are well maintained and fairly clean, employees are quick and kind. This time it was the total opposite.

There were few signs directing how to get to the drop off area. When we finally determined where to take the truck, the Uhaul personnel initially ignored our request on how to check out. After a few minutes, a second individual was.very rude and began yelling that the truck was not in exactly the right place then walked away. We repositioned the truck and then went inside to check out. There were customers standing everywhere with no clear organization or line to the counter. There were three attendants at the counter but they were not helping any customers. One attendant asked if I was returning a truck and then suggested that I just leave and a receipt would be emailed to me. I think Uhaul is a good company but the employees at this location were horrible. I will never again use this location and recommend that others avoid it as well.

My original order got canceled 1.5 hours before pickup. I had to scramble to get a new one because I needed it in a time sensitive manner! The castleton uhaul had one in stock which was good. But they never answered the phone when we called 3 times prior to arriving.

There was a middle aged white guy there who was very helpful. Great resource for help. I submitted my rental with someone else who wasn't helpful. I asked to rent a trailer for a day, expecting to return the next morning. Only after looking at the sheet I saw I would be double charged if I dropped it off later than 5 hours after I picked it up, the same day. Forced to return it in the night to make sure I avoided other fees. $15/day = $15/5 hours?

The ac on the truck barely worked, it took 25 monutes for the cab to not be hot and be comfortable but it never felt like the ac was actually working. I had a extremely hard time checking the truck in the app is complete garage. I doubt i will ever use uhaul again after this experience

The time I spent on the phone and in-store being passed around from associate to associate was frustrating. I tried to call the store directly but would be kicked out to the corporate number and the process would start all over. The online tools never seemed to work if things had to change with our moving plan. Overall a very frustrating process with how much time spent but happy everything arrived safely.

Return experience via the app was not great. I could not get the app to accept my pic of the odometer and had to leave the truck and drop the keys in the overnight drop without being able to complete the return via the app. I still do not have a copy of a receipt showing the charges.

They did not have the truck we selected to rent. Online check in is a waste of time. We checked in almost all the way to be told we need assistance. My mother had the same issue months prior at Uhaul. Makes no sense to have online check in if you have to go inside and talk to someone.

The Asian I had when I recently went into the store was rude and dismissive, she did not give me any paperwork or instructions. I had questions about what type of gas to put in what was my return Time Etc. but I had to get those questions answered but totally different agent because for some reason the original Agent had Just didn't like me and didn't want to talk to me.

There was a RIDICULOUSLY LONG LINE to check in and we arrived 15 minutes before the store opened. Perhaps you should warn people ahead of time that there will be a long line at 9 AM and advise that they choose a later time to avoid waiting.

I originally booked to pick up the van in another location, however the vehicle I booked was unavailable. The staff there at the keystone location, were amazing and found me one castleton. When I arrived, there was chit chat and picture sharing among the staff, I wasn't really acknowledged and it was clear I was interrupting. I had completed all of my check in online, but was asked do it again. I also asked for a dolly and I believe I paid for it, but when I arrived to my destination there wasn't one in the vehicle. While I should have checked before I left, it should have been in the vehicle as well. I am very confused about the mileage situation as well. I estimated at the beginning but no one checked it at the end. So if I was under that mileage amount shouldn't I receive a refund for unused miles? If over I would gladly pay as well, but I estimated higher so that wouldn't happen.

The right brake light was not working. However, the real issue is that your online check in is worthless. We have tried the online check in app/process several times and it has actually cost us more time than waiting in line every single time. For the 2 years we had this storage building we didn't have access to pay online because our profile said we didn't have a storage room. So our payments we messed up all the time and the staff wasn't always helpful. It was annoying and the reason we left uhaul and went with a different company.

While the inside office was clean and the employees friendly and helpful, Where my storage unit was located, the grounds were filthy with trash, empty medicine bottles, beer cans, etc. I actually had to sweep in front of my unit so I could open the door. Had I known that it was going to be that disgusting I would have rented somewhere else. In all the years I've been using U-Haul this was by far the worse filth I've ever seen.

First day using my storage unit, they assigned me one that had items in it. The unit I was reassigned would not align with the lock part so I couldn't use the lock I purchased, in the correct spot. Customer service is horrible everytime. Doesn't matter if I come in for boxes or something else.. there's no greeting. They ignore you even when they are not with a customer. They NEVER answer the phone. Interactions are very boring and monotone. A very unhappy staff. Will not be using this facility again.

Everytime I come to this location, the staff never greets any of the customers. Even if there's a short wait (when they are not with customers) nobody says they'll be with you in a moment or even acknowledges you're standing there. The transactions at the counter are always very monotone and awkward. Yesterday I was there because I had a reservation for a storage unit. The unit I was assigned was half open and still had items in there. I was assigned a new unit and luckily that one was empty. No apology at the counter. Just a new sheet of paper with my new unit number. The staff is worse than the workers at the post office. I come to this location often and once I am done using my storage unit, I'm most likely going elsewhere.

Told that my access was 24/7( Posted on the gate). Get up their after hours in freezing weather and had no access. My vehicle was inside so I had to leave there walking. You haul customer service( While I was freezing) Would not Grant my access until they somehow contacted the general manager of the u-haul location where my vehicle was. Otherwise I was going to have to wait until 5:00 a.m. when he came in. This turned in to about a 2 hour ordeal when I was finally granted a pass cold that would let me into the storage. The passcode that I originally created would not work at all. I had to walk all night just to stay warm until this FINALLY happened!

I only had my trailer parked there for about 3 months but on multiple occasions I arrived to find someone else's items all over my parking space. There had to be moved before I could access my trailer. What made me cancel the space was when my trailer was vandalized and locks cut. No trust in the level of security here or respect for people's property.

The last time I was there, the main drive to the units had a fair amount of broken glass on the ground. This should have been dealt with immediately. Secondly, although it is not your policy, I think when a renter closes out a unit, the monthly prorated rent should be returned. Thanks.

I really enjoyed having somewhere to hold my things for a year while downsizing. Before moving my things in storage the unit was clean. My unit was easily accessible even with a huge truck. If you don't have a lock they can provide you with one at a discount with the purchase of the storage unit. Great Experience.

We moved from Florida to Indianapolis. We received one month free rent. After two weeks we got notices our storage was delinquent. Made several calls a was told they did not know why. Disappointing.
