The last time I went to rent a truck, there were three people working. One person was on the phone taking a personal call and stayed on the phone till they were done talking. I wasn't even acknowledged. The other two employees were playing with each other and disregarded me completely. This sort of customer service is unacceptable. They should take care of customers that walk in the door and help them so they can be on their way instead of having to wait for the employee to get off their personal call.john P.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Young men did not want to talk to us, let alone help us. Could y hook up the trailer without our help. Running lights didn't work, which is illegal to drive with where we were driving to. Employees told us â€œthat's just how trailers areâ€ and didn't even offer to help us find a new charger. Some equipment needs retiring. Often under-staffed, though the folks present are usually quite competent. Just not on this day. My trailer (5x9 utility) was not available, and I was given a 6x12 that was far too heavy for a 4cyl manual. The empty trailer alone was 300lbs over, and I never got to actually load anything. Had to return the next morning. Was allowed to leave without operational lights due to a wiring issue. Since this store is historically top notch (I've almost always reviewed positively), I am assuming either a hiring mistake or just a bad day.Andrew B.

Didn't honor the storage reservation order and didn't have accommodations to off load 26' truck. I had reservations for both a 10x15x10 storage unit and to drop off 26' truck. The storage unit I'd reserved had been processed to another customer and they had no explanation nor anything to accommodate me. I had to get them to get approval to drop the truck off at another location while I called around and found another authorized UHaul dealer that had storage to accommodate my needs. They put the auto transport trailer back on the truck, knowing that the 3rd party authorized dealer wasn't supposed to accept it; however, the agent at the 3rd party location went a step further and stated that he'd call and have someone from UHaul to come and pickup the auto transport trailer. What should have taken us 2.5 hours took 5.5 hours out of our day. I ended up paying much more for the storage accommodations than I would have had my reservation had been honored.DEBRA J.

Even though we fuel the truck the amount that we used (back to the middle of the fuel indicator), we were charged 12.65 for 2 GL. Also, the mirrors were moving easily when driving the truck. this is very dangerous, so this truck needs to be fixed before the next persons drives it.Charlie C.

My original pickup location was supposed to be the location on Hewatt Rd. I got a call from a very nice customer service man (I can't remember his name but he was delightful) saying that they didn't have the truck for me, but that this location did. My original reservation was a one way trip and was to be dropped off at a location in sandy springs. The very nice customer service man reassured me that was still the case, that it was still a one way trip. However, when I got to the location to pick up my truck, they said that it had to be round trip because it wasn't â€˜in town' or whatever that means. The drop off location that I was supposed to have was not even 35 minutes away from where I was picking the truck up. I paid $40 MORE than I should have had to. I want a refund for whatever the difference was. The people at this uhaul location did nothing to help me and shrugged me off. I will not be using uhaul again unless I get that money back and there be a contact reaching out to me.Paul B.

At first when I arrived they said they were out of pads and I had ordered a half dozen. But as I went to go hook up to the trailer a gentleman walked out with a bag of pads. To my surprise when we open the doors at the loading location there was a pile of pads in the trailer and we used those so I did not need to use the ones I ordered. The staff at Pleasant Hill was terrible. No social kills. The store is being ran by a bunch of young kids that could care less. I made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance and I didn't get none of what was promised. I was told my storage wasn't 1st floor access, it wasn't climate controlled, I did not earn the 1st month free, I did not get a lock free. Whoever you had working Sunday 1/23 were not knowledgeable of the info being promised online. They were all very unprofessional and condescending. If I wasn't moving my moms things and needed the storage right then I would have left. I'm very very very disappointed and unsatisfied. I paid my rental from a reoccurring auto banking check from my bank from the first payment to the last, roughly a year and a half. Every three or four months I received a late payment notices. The first time, I called the facility to correct it. Then I would go to the facility to impress upon them the need to correct the problems causing me to receive the notices. I continued to receive late payment notices after I was told it wouldn't happen again. The straw that broke the camel's back was a "Pre-Lien Notice". Staff was very slow. I understand some staff members were being trained but the pace of work was excruciating - I had to wait an hour to get moved into my storage unit after having made a reservation online with all necessary information. This was with no line and only 2-3 other customers for the entire time, and then was sold a lock that cost $15 that was not the typical lock used. I was dissatisfied with the explanation of the card entry for every visit. The representative that showed us the unit did not explain the card entry very well until asked. She said to just swipe the card but did not mentioned we would be locked out if done incorrectly or not done at all on my second visit I was locked out of the facility. I called customer service to assist and of course they couldn't help me get in because an on site manager had to be present. Because of this, I returned my uhaul truck late which I was charged extra and had to re load all my belongings I had un loaded on the dock. This was Sunday after hours and the office was closed. Customer service had called the onsite manager but she did not answer. The card entry process should have been better explained. Everything with the facility was fine. Up until my card was charged twice when I moved out. I get the $50 fee for them cutting the lock. But, I was told I didn't need to sign anything. I didn't have to take pictures, & I would be emailed my move out letter. I don't recall seeing that email, but was billed twice. I can't get in contact with no one at the facility. An email was sent by customer service,and yet I haven't heard anything back as it pertains to a refund. After two year, and about three months. First off, I came in there to get a storage. I bought a lock "from them" Went to make my first payment and my payment was double. I begin to dispute the charges, no one could help me. I came back the next day with my husband and we were told they had to cut the lock because we did lock the storage door right, and it was open so they charged us to cut the lock. A complete lie because my husband and I checked the door before we left. The conclusion came to, we can take off the price for the lock but still have to charge an additional $50 for cutting the lock. Um, we bought the lock from them so they didn't do anything in our favor. And, no one did not put in notes that we cancelled our storage so I received an email stating I would be charged $15 late fee when we had already moved out of their storage two weeks prior to me getting the email.
