Could use more temperature controlled indoor storage for cars boats motorhomes at this facility. The ones that you have are great and they get filled up really quick. Also, the people that work at this facility on Whipple are really great and work with you to help get you into your space when you rent it and keep the facility clean and safe. Thank you Doug.

James StevicI was charged for a vehicle I did not use. When arriving at Uhaul, I was given a GMC van to use. Once I saw that I didn't know how to operate the stick shift on it, my girlfriend and I jumped out of the van and headed back into the building to ask for a different van to use. This was all on camera too if they need to check it. The associate said it was no problem and switched us over to a different cargo van that was easier to use. I found out later that I was charged for someone else's miles on that GMC van we never used and was never actually removed from it on the computer. Instead of being charged for the 20 miles I drove, they charged me 4x the miles (81 miles) for someone else's trip with a vehicle I did not use... It says in the receipt that there is two different vehicles under the 'equipment' section. I called to get it sorted out but have yet to hear anything back.. I was told it could take up to 3 days. I was charged $111 instead of $45 for only driving 20 miles. I will more than likely never use Uhaul again because of this.

Thomas Space JRThis is our go-to place for U-Haul in our hometown. They have a spacious parking lot and a good selection of trucks and trailers. We have dropped off trailers twice in two months from cross-country trips and have been satisfied. The second time we dropped off a trailer only one woman was checking in equipment and had trucks backed up and more trailers coming in behind us. She wasn't really pleased with having to unhitch our trailer but in all honesty, she should have had more help at this time of day.
Roger DavisTruck interior was quit dirty. Food inside the cab windshield looked like someone though coffee on it and kitty liter on the passenger seat. The inside of the container had grease on the floor.

They allowed me to use a truck that was apparently designated for another client. I appreciate their flexibility, but it is somewhat disappointing to not have a vehicle after allowing that much lead time after I placed the order.

Theresa CulverClerk was nice on Friday morning when I picked up the trailer. Inside trailer had chalk on the sides that left red marks on furniture that I didn't see it until after I unloaded. Dropped off 24 hours later and the clerk was nasty and unpleasant. Told me to go unhitch the trailer by myself. I told her I wasn't sure how, and then she blamed me for the trailer being too high on my hitch and if I had not helped her, she wasn't going to unhook the trailer. I told her the hook up person should have seen that on Friday. She also complained because the trailer had a lot of snow and ice from the day before. It is February!

This was about 11:00 am. Then they couldn't find the key and had to call an employee who worked the night before. He could not find it either. After wasting almost an hour of my time and the 9 people I had waiting to unload my moving trucks, I found another storage facility down the street and went there. The U-Haul facility was dirty and cluttered, the staff was very unprofessional. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.

When we finally did get the door open the additional dolly, furniture pads, ets were not in the truck. I was scheduled to pick the truck up before they opened. Luckily I was late and arrived when they opened so I was able to get my stuff.

My lock was never tampered with, and I am the only one that had a key. However I am missing about $300 worth of items. (Curtain rods/curtains, dishes, appliances, and cleaning items). Random items, but not sure how several boxes are just messing. However, the staff was friendly enough.

Also, I was told specifically by the staff that they prorated the monthly cost of the units and any unused time would be refunded. That is not the case. You are charge for an entire month, even if you only use the facility for a few days of that month. I am very unhappy that the proration was not honored. The person who rents those units will be prorated and they will double dip on the rental of that unit.

I tried calling the office with questions a few times but no one would ever answer so I always ended up talking to someone at the UHaul call center. I was told we had 48 hours after our monthly payment was due to check out of our units by the ladies in the office as well as through the UHaul live chat feature. When we went to check out during that time our account had been suspended because we were “late.” However, we weren’t. The ladies in the office gave my husband a hard time about it-good thing I had taken screenshots of my live chat conversation confirming that we did have the full additional 48 hours.

If you know it is not 10x8 you should not present it as such. just be honest. Today, 1/8/23 I needed to get something at 6:50 AM and the door denied access. Access is stated to be at 5 AM.

Moving carts were waiting every time I needed to get items to my storage unit. The only complaint was late fee amount. Granted it was always my fault, but $15 for a late fee of one day I thought was steep. Overall great place. Would use it again if I needed storage.

Douglas Houtz | First ImpressionsWe set up the unit with autopay. We put our credit card number on file. We used the card on file to buy packing supplies. When it came time to pay the second month’s rent it wasn’t charged to our card. Instead we got a late notice and we were charged a $15 late fee. I tried to call numerous times but no one ever answered. I went to the U-Haul website and used the chat function. I was assured twice that I would receive a call back from the local GM. I never got a call. I stopped in and was treated very rudely by the person who was working. I sent an email to the GM but never got a response. She was quick however to send a notice of a rate increase. Our rent was paid through 9/21 but our account was closed on 9/15. Luckily we had removed our belongings by then. The business practices are unethical and the customer service is horrible. I’d never rent from that site again and would never recommend it either. There are plenty of other storage places around and I’d recommend any of them before U-Haul.

It wasn't cool like the front of the building was. Also, it was an extremely long way to walk from the front parking lot....it is ridiculous that they don't allow people to use the rear entrance to load and unload their lockers, especially since the rear entrance is right around the corner.

Canton I needed something at 11 pm and could not get it. 24hr access denied During the day it's open and not supervised as well. I will still recommend but the whole experience was bad. The lady at headquarters really mess my order up and she should not be working there. The headquarters are nothing but pushy sells people pushing you to buy

Went to the storage unit and I can not Get into my unit only during business hours. My code doesn’t work, unloading took a very long time due to the location of unloading docks. I got a text to drop the truck somewhere else and I called and refused to do it. Gas is 5 dollars a gallon and giving MORE mileage is not a reimbursement to transport your truck to and from my scheduled pick up and drop off. I have called Uhaul and they said they can’t do anything!

Mishelle Libertore | Overall ExperienceI actually moved out if the storage in the 19th if August and due to me not having transportation to get to the facility and check out I had to call, that was a nightmare I tried calling the facility numerous times with no luck I called from the 18th to the 25 if August. I finally reached someone around the 28th. Now my move out date reads the 31st. Customer service is not the too priority with this certain facility. Shame cause I've used U-Haul many times in my Navy Carrier and never had a problem. I will use them again they are a great company just this one time if bad communication and lack of a vehicle in my part will not turn me away from U-Haul I am a loyal customer and will always use them.

VICTORIA BOUR | Overall ExperienceWe were satisfied until the very end. We emptied one of our units 6 weeks before the due date and the second one 2 weeks before the due date. SEVERAL people told us we would get a refund on the unused time after our final unit was emptied. Upon completion we were told refunds are not done. This wasn't fair as uhaul could have re-rented these units and gotten double money on them. We've learned our lesson. Next time we will keep the units, empty or not until the very last minute!

He had told me the truck would be available at the whipple location once we arrived @ the whipple store I was told to pickup on E Tusc. After arriving @ the store on Tusc. the young lady could not find my rsvp. Back to whipple the gentleman had to call the manager to get things straightened out. Manager upgraded truck. Rsvp a second truck & Jeff once again screwed up. He was to schedule pickup Canton & return & he did not. Manager once again took care of the problem. No I will recommend renting truck from uhaul location. Jeff horrible poor customer service never smiled & I pray he didn’t do what he did based on what he THOUGHT was social economics. I can assure whatever the cost for rental we can afford. I felt he judge me on the color of my skin / social economics. I would like a feed back. Thank you

There were absoluteLy no lights working in the hallway & was told it couldn’t be fixed until Monday (after moving day). Could not see anything inside of my unit. Snow was not cleared around the door so we could not get carts to work. As soon as you walk in there is nothing but others peoples JUNK facing you. I paid slightly less for a PRISTINE unit in MI that i could even drive my vehicle into for loading/unloading. I will be looking for a different storage unit elsewhere. I always have a good experience with truck rental & my friends unit was decent, but this was way below my expectations (especially of Uhaul) for the price.

They are not accommodating, make you jump through hoops to get things done and sometimes down-right nasty. I would not recommend this facility or ANY of their services to anyone. I will try and avoid uHaul altogether from here on out due to my latest experience. Someone needs to take a close look at this location and how it is ran and the people that are running it.

First she did not answer cell phone. Had to call second time before she answered. She said I had to use both access places because it was after 7:00 pm. I did and door opened but not sliding door. Had to call her a third time to find out how to open sliding door. Was told it would not open because it was after 7:00 pm. When I went to open unit I rented it was full of trash and had not been swept. We had to find a broom and sweep it and clean out trash. I call her a fourth time to report this. She called me today and apologized for all the trouble and dirty unit. She said she noted on my account I would get 20% off for the rest of my rental. I asked her why the representative did not inform me of additional things to access after 7:00pm. She said she would talk to them but could not answer this because she was not there when I rented. If I had not been able to contact her last night I would have been denied access. I had a semi truck making delivery at 8:00 pm. He would have been required to stay over until today and I would not have been able to have my help with unloading.
