It is ridiculous you expect such a few people to do so much work and juggle so many responsibilities. I was there on time at 7am for my hitch installation appointment. The parking lot was overflowing with uhaul trucks beyond belief. They were trying their best to get trucks ready to rent out, service customers at the front desk, and do my hitch install. They did a great job on my hitch install but I was there from 7am to 1pm before he could finally string together enough time to get it done. Please hire more people for this store on Jimmy Carter Blvd!

I forgot to take a picture of the mileage initially so when I returned the vehicle it read I drove a 146 miles which was incorrect. My house from U-Haul was 5.5 and from my old house it was 4.5 miles. After I drove to a storage facility in Sandy Springs which was 8 miles. In short after adding all of the miles driven I drove shy of 50 miles. I was super frustrated not with the price but the principle. Mrs. Brittany over and beyond to help me resolved this issue. I am definitely a happy customer and I would rent from this location in Jimmy Carter Blvd again

Sherika ClayThe truck was stored behind another truck. So after walking the yard awhile twice up and down. I found it. I asked the rep if they could move the truck in front which was blocked on all three side and going backwards was not an option. But when they did, the truck I was assigned to was wedge in tightly on each side . When I asked if the could bring it out also, the other rep told me to just pull it forward slowly. I had to tell her I didn’t feel comfortable pulling it out that tight spot. While she was pulling it, she had to get assistance in pulling in the mirrors on the trucks on each side and the trucks ahead in the front spots on each side. So all four trucks mirrors had to be pulled in so she could get out of the back spot.They should not have been my burden to do to get a truck out. What if I made a mistake and hit one of those mirrors Then when I came back, I was told all I needed was to give them the keys. They would email me the charges. When I said I wanted to see what the charges were so I would not have a surprise, the rep that checked me in gave me a look as if I had asked for something unreasonable. So I just left and promised myself to not use that U-Haul again. This had been my favorite spot because the head manager who has worked there a long time was very very friendly. I deserved better customer service. Both pick up and drop off.

He brought up an issue on my account that I proved was not accurate however he continued to treat me like I was lying and at risk of returning the equipment damaged or late. Most customers you have are in a very stressful situation and to be talked to the way he talked to me ruined my whole day. I am always very polite and once he realized I had not done anything wrong in my previous rental, his demeanor should have changed. I will not be returning here again to rent anything.

Dagmawi BerhaneI reserved the rental truck, 2 furniture movers, and one utility dolly online with rental date of 12/20 for 8 hours. When I got there at 7:00 am to pick up everything, they only had 1 furniture mover and one utility dolly. I really needed two but the counter person could only find one furniture mover to rent out. I gave them an estimate of 70 miles I think I would drive. They put a hold of $122.17 on my credit card: $29.95 for truck rental, $7.00 for one furniture mover, $7.00 for one utility dolly, $55.30 for mileage rate $0.79 x 70 miles, $15.00 insurance, and $7.92 for taxes and fees. I returned the truck on same day, 12/20, at 2:21 pm. I had only driven 53 miles instead of 70 miles. I went into the store and the counter person told me she didn't have anyone to check the truck back in and to leave the truck keys in the cab. She said "We'll check it in later and send you an e-mail receipt". I never got an email receipt but I gave them the benefit of doubt since it was close to the holidays. I took a picture of the mileage and left believing the employee's words. The estimated charge of $122.17 went through without the mileage adjustment. I called and spoke to an assistant manager, Andrea, at the local U-haul office on 12/23 to resolve the overcharge and she said the truck hasn't even been checked back in from my original date of 12/20. She said she would check the truck back in and send me an itemized email of charges. Well the email charged me an additional $190.64 on top of $122.17 for three days of every daily charge. I called and spoke to Andrea again and told her I returned the truck on 12/20 not on 12/23. She said she had to send the information to regional office to get things straightened out.

Lastly the unit was “air conditioned” I had a small unit on second floor and quite a few of my things were moldy. I don’t expect to use this facility again due to too many inconsistencies.

The rep was told I need to fit living room furniture in the unit. when I got there they said my reservation was for a 4 foot storage unit which is basically a closet. Previously I made a reservation in Laurel, md. For july2nd. When I got there they said the truck was in Washington DC. I drove there only to be sent to the heart of Baltimore. I ended up driving to 5 different locations before getting the truck then another location for the car tow dolly. Then when I got to the drop off location after driving 750miles that was attached to my drop off/storage location, I was told that I didn’t have a reservation for storage and could not drop off cause they don’t take one way trucks. I showed them the information but they said they couldn’t find it. When I left and went to a public storage and signed the papers I got a call from someone saying they “found” my reservation and to come back. Public storage was already closed so I couldn’t get my money back. This was after paying $150 in additional cost for the public storage that I didn’t even want. After calling and speaking to several reps I was told the drop off location in my records was correct so I went back. The lady said, “I don’t take one way trucks and equipment but I need it so I’ll take it!” So because she needed it was the only reason she accepted it. Such a disappointment cause I’ve spent well over1,200$ in the last month with uhaul only to have my furniture and other items spread all over Atlanta because people can’t perform their jobs properly. To say I was inconvenienced would be a drastic understatement. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

Had to hire movers to load my stuff into their storage units, unload them and then load into my new house; cost me $4,000 extra! The storage units had holes in them! My stuff was soaked, mildew filled & full of rat turd!! STAY AWAY FROM U- HAUL IN NORCROSS, GA!!! Considering a law suit.

So, the Manger, "Noel," from the Norcross location just gave my boxes away. No call, no warning at all!! He is an uncaring awful human being. I had to hustle to find same-day movers, which I did. But sine Noel gave away my boxes, I was screwed. Sherry Cox was amazing and was able to get us a storage unit. Sherry should be the manager!! ALL STAFF WAS GREAT accept for the Manager Noel! He was terrible.

Francias Cassius | Overall ExperienceYou have an employee Her name is Pondra, that was forcing me to buy insurance on the storage, when I had previously talked to 2 different people that didn’t mentioned anything about an insurance, she said I had to purchase insurance since I was getting the first month “free” for he storage and then she got upset because I asked to talk to her manager Noel Marin. Also the unit I had previously “reserved” #1020 was an occupied unit and we found out until we got there. Then I had to comeback to the office to let them know. They took a long time to find out what unit was available because I told them I had seen unit 1018 empty and I wanted that one, but they said it wasn’t available (an empty unit). They didn’t give me that one. Then I finally leave the office with a different unit # and they didn’t give a new gate code, so I got lock out outside the gate because my previous gate code didn’t work anymore after they changed my storage unit and the truck was inside already the storage area.... well, I had to comeback to the office AGAIN and everybody was gone so, I had to chase them down to get them to fix my situation. So once inside your employee Pondra was very upset because it was past 7 pm and they were still dealing with “ME” but she didn’t want to help me with anything, she totally ignored my previous request for help when I was inside the office. She pretended that didn’t see me and pretended to be busy, even when I tried talking to her she will answer “hold on” and disappear and stay outside talking with people. Finally they figured out what to do with the gate code and made me choose a new code number, so this time I asked Somarion to walk with me to the gate and make sure I had it right. And while I was dealing with this whole situation Pondra was rude to my son, she asked him to move from in front of her because he (my son) wasn’t supposed to “see her counting the money”... note: he was sitting on the customer area, just waiting for me to finish and she was inside the employee side and she had the decency to ask him to move from there and she told him “he wasn’t supposed” to see her with the money YES just like that. It was a very frustrating experience that took almost 2 long hours to complete and get right. I was really upset!!! You need better and trained customer service in there!!!

I will use my free month with my UHAUL rental and move straight into a Public Storage. Units are “supposedly climate controlled” and dirty.

My truck wasn't ready for my next rental and they said it would be 4 hours. Horrible time there Noel should learn how to treat customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone

The Norcross location, was very nice and helpful. I can appreciate customer service experiences like this. I am grateful to them.
