I would recommend this location but not the company. I signed up for Mobile Pick Up at the May Ave location. I was redirected to another location on Ocean Street. I did not select Ocean in my original reservation because it is unsafe and Soquel Ave was well out of my way. When I arrived Ocean Street, I could not park on location. Big sign indicating this. Parked 3 blocks away. There was someone sleeping inside the back of a truck, parked next to the one that was reserved for me. Trash and human waste of every sort around the vehicles. I attempted Mobile pick Up multiple times and license would not upload. I called the contact number that was sent to me. Londa in Fremont was VERY helpful. She tried to assist with the mobile upload and reset but after 30 minutes of this, it was unsuccessful. She directed me to Soquel location. Shami was very accommodating. It was out of my way and I had to pay for the extra miles and I was safe and had a truck. Londa and Shami were very helpful.

The location that i eventually was able to get a vehicle at was great, but i had two separate times where i made the original reservation in Felton and went to go get the vehicle and they didn’t have it. I appreciated the $50 credit offer but it wasn’t actually applied.

I was double charged and still trying to dispute it. I called and the rep just interrupted me when I was talking and she said, "hold on, hold on." I was kept on the phone for over 5 minutes and hung up and called back but no answer.

The man working at that Valero was very nice and helpful. I think that location could benefit however from having at least one more employee on staff.

Used the mobile option to speed the process but when we arrived, the site said no equipment was assigned and to call a phobe number. We called and nobody answered (went to voicemail). Never received a call back.

I really liked the hours of operation for the location, especially for a sundays. Very accessible and beneficial as majority of persons only have a Day off in the week where we can actually get stuff done like Sundays

Headlights were aimed completely down and was unsafe to drive at night on any roads. We were on back roads without many street lights and kept needing to put on the brights which weren’t much better. We did not feel safe driving this vehicle at all in the dark.

I returned the truck and was being charged more for gas above what it should be. I was told by the attendant that it was what was in the computer. He said he could only change the amount if I had the receipt. Which I did . I asked if you would of over charged me without it and he said yes because that’s what was in computer. How many people have been over charged for gas and miles at this location. Will not be using your device again.

Due to a last minute change in plans, I had to return the truck after only a few hours instead of taking the long trip I had planned. The site handled it beautifully, changing the one way to a local rental and refunding the difference. I am very, very happy with how the site took care of the situation.

My only complaint is that when refueling the gauge didn’t read the gas I had pumped immediately - so I assumed I needed to add more and did the same again. When returning to the vehicle dashboard a second time it read full. I was trying to get to 7/8 full. It’s not a big deal but I spent $13 in gas I didn’t have to and the guy at the counter explained it was the second or third time he had had that feedback and sorry. I’d like a refund on the $12 gas not a sorry - but he couldn’t do anything as he was the night shift guy only. Just left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Otherwise great experience, friendly helpful staff and quick service (I precooked online). Thanks.

I've used UHaul for years, but today I had the worst UHaul experience yet. I want a full refund for the pain, frustration, and injuries sustained trying to get faulty equipment to work. I'm normally easygoing, but this was totally uncalled for. My 10foot truck was filled with stuff, and I drove some 4-5 miles to drop it off. But the sliding back door would not go down more than a couple feet. The wire, on the right, that is supposed "to assist" the person opening it came off it's spool and wrapped around the door's rotating pole. I tried for 30 minutes to get the wire back on the pole, sweating and trying to avoid injury of getting a finger caught. I just had no success, and I needed to close the door to drive up a hill. So I tried to take the cotter pin out ... that was jammed. Someone lent me a pliers and I was able to twist the cotter pin out ... but not before having it poke me in the thumb drawing blood ... and then I found out the pin that holds the wire was completely rusted to the hardware and would not budge. That was beyond frustration. Returning the truck, I explained what happened to me. The manager said "we knew about that issue. We thought they had fixed it." So you *knew* I was going out with faulty equipment. They did not offer to waive the cost of this. I want a complete refund. My wife and mother were waiting for me to get back. I want this addressed. There are other options out there like 1-800-JUNK that can be used. .. and you (well the truck renters) knew it! I took pictures of the truck, the pin, and the wires.
